My latest haul from Skeleton Dust Records in Dayton Ohio. Includes a 7" vinyl, tapes in weird packaging, CDs, a couple DVDs, and some printed zines & books.

Great to see another noise update. Love Sissy Spacek and John Wiese. K Kuboto is a name I’ve seen around but don’t think I’ve ever tried anything by. Torturing Nurse I heard many years ago after someone mentioning it as just extreme, it didn’t do so much for me at the time, but I might give it another shot now. But I agree that you don’t very often hear about Chinese noise acts. Kazumoto Endo has some great stuff, oddly I was actually listening to that Keiyo album this morning, and I agree with you that it’s definitely not among his best works. The pacing is oddly slow, sounds slowed down, or just kind of sloppy or lazy. I listened to the Killer Bug episode of Noisextra the other day, are you a follower of that podcast? Would like to see that Haters Dvd, I kind of feel the same way with their sonic output as such hasn’t really impressed me. I probably also need something else to push me over to the appreciative side. I had that feeling with The New Blockaders too but they suddenly just clicked with me, I think maybe due to Noisextra (and I know they’re massive Haters fans aswell). A Michael Nine book? Cool, should be an interesting read for sure. Your essay video was great, btw. Cheers, Johan
