Music Director S. Mohinder Interview with Iqbal Mahal

S. Mohinder is a music director, who has created music for about 100 Punjabi and Hindi films. He gained popularity for his music for the Punjabi film, "Nanak Naam Jahaaz Hai", for which he received a National Award.
I have known since 1970. During my trip to Bombay in 2016, I had the opportunity of visiting him in Mumbai. Here is a recording of our interview.

Waah Iqbal Sahab, what a treat your have done for us for recording and then posting this interview with the great S.Mohinder (Bakshi Mohinder Singh Sarna-his full name I just came to know); we have all grown up listening to the melodious shabads of Nanak Naam Jahaaz Hay. These are eternal melodies. How wonderful it is to see the 91 year old S.Mohinder still able to sing these shabads in perfect sur! May God bless him. We are all indebted to you S.Mohinder Ji. Thank you Iqbql ji S Mohinder is a divine person.Sardar ji started his singing with Gurbani form Bhai Sohan Singh ji.I am so blessed i listen Bhai Sohan Singh ji in my childhood. Musical composition of all the shabad of Nanak Naam Jahaj film are precious pearl. Sardar ji will live for ever.
