Real talk, this is one of the best soundtracks I've seen in a while, I was gushing about it to my friends for a hot minute, seriously. There are some truly beautiful tracks in this, even a couple Porter Robinson-esque ones I love (NO clue what to name that genre but you know what I mean) and I ABSOLUTELY love the piano with electric guitar in some songs. Even the songs that start off silly or ironic turn into something beautiful near the end. YOU EVEN INCLUDED MOTIFS, I CAN TELL THERE ARE REOCCURRING MELODIES THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING. I love this soundtrack so much, you did such a wonderful job. Some of my special favorites have to be "chaos," "heart," "drama alert," "inspiration," "live," and "slow dancing."

OMG THANK YOU!!! 😭😭 Yeah Porter was a huge influence (I have a huge spreadsheet of all the influences haha there was a lot going on to keep track of) Fun fact: The different motifs have different purposes. There’s what I call a “hook motif”, a “teachpo motif”, the “main motif” and a couple others. For example the hook motif (as heard in the horns first statement after the intro of “hook”) is meant for the hooks of videos (very basic), but the teachpo motif (as seen in “tryna learn” flute part) is for when anthony is explaining something he learned about his wacky experience. The themes/motifs can morph in different ways to fit different vibes. Like the “in the dark” track is supposed to be a medley sort of vibe using the motifs from all the previous tracks, this was sort of influenced by Hopes and Dreams from Undertale 😳 So glad you liked it!!

I would have added "in the dark" to my list of favorites but it felt special enough that it deserved a higher ranking lmao, and I can see the Undertale inspiration too (it's one of my all-time favorite games and soundtracks)! And thank you for the motif explanation, it ended up making me appreciate the little details in the tracks even more! :]

I can hear so many of the influences haha. That one motif that I hear a lot sounds like a bit from Lifelike by Porter Robinson, and the whole last track reminds me of Goodbye to a World, but also sounds inspired by Son Lux's EEAAO score. In the Dark is very much Hopes and Dreams by Toby Fox. Gaming might be inspired by Mark Sparling's A Short Hike soundtrack? I can totally hear other game influences on that one. Content reminds me of the Mario 3D world theme. Sips Tea is just straight up Eine Kleine Nachtmusik haha (or at least the intro is). The last one I can clearly tell is Slow Dancing is very inspired by Can You Hear the Music by Ludwig Goransson. You gotta release all of the individual inspirations!!
