Thanks Susan. I'm very happy that you like this track and find it helpful. Just to let you know, there is a better version of it on my Bandcamp page, the link is above. I used better sounds with a better arrangement and development. But still basically the same piece. Thanks again for listening to my music. Have a great week.

What is a "breathless state"
@mr.pringle84665 ай бұрын
@@chriba6815 It's where you become so still that the "need" to breathe is also relaxed. It is a stage of samadhi, that serves in deep stillness, I have been in this state for a little less than half an hour.. that I know of

How do you not freak out toward the end, I felt like I was dieing, or falling asleep while awake.
@soundcoherence2 жыл бұрын
Hi, was it the breathing that made you feel like this? Or was it the repetitiveness / duration?
@susanfarmer222 күн бұрын
I’m not sure why that’s happening. At the end, the music fades into breathlessness maybe that’s why? my favorite part is the end. As a matter of fact can you do another version of this with just the music and no beeps like you have at the end? maybe start with just a few minutes of the beeps and then 17 minutes of music only? i think that’ll get you a lot of views too!

How does one use it for 5.5 breathing?
@soundcoherence2 жыл бұрын
Hi! To achieve 5.5 breaths just follow the piano pulse - a count 4 for the inhale and 4 for the exhale, or you can just follow the two changing chords. The speed of the pulse means that your breathing rate will be 5.5 breaths per minute.

@@soundcoherence Thanks for this beautiful breathing aide. I have a serious question.. I just finished reading "Breath," by ?? Nestor. He says that 5.5 x 5.5 breathing is the best for our body. He also says that slow breathing is best. My natural breathing is more like 7 x 7 when I am sitting and doing breath work. 5.5 x 5.5 feels rushed and I've followed apps and that rate almost makes me feel like I'm hyperventilating. What do you say about this?
@soundcoherence Жыл бұрын
@@leetorrence6152 Hi Lee, thanks for your message. I am not an expert but in my experience I think we are all slightly different and our optimum breathing rate may vary depending on our physiology and current state of health. If a breathing rate makes you feel uncomfortable then it won’t have the desired effect on the nervous system. I would go with what feels right for your body. Are you practicing sitting up or lying down? I’ve heard that the rate should be slower if you're lying down. I sometimes go with what my body needs. Sometimes my exhale is longer than my inhale but it usually equalises after some time. I say trust your body. If you get the feeling of alert calmness and that feeling that your system is running smooth then you’re probably doing it right for you. I'm planning on doing a slower rate track soonish.
