Music Generation Leitrim 'Ode to Joy Sing Up' 2023.

Over 1000 young singers took part in Music Generation Leitrim's 'Ode to Joy Sing Up' performances for Europe Day 2023. They were accompanied by a talented Musician Educator house band and a guest trumpet player for some extra fanfare.
Young people in 3rd - 6th class from 14 primary schools in Leitrim took part.
Performances were held in Ballinamore and Manorhamilton.
The #OurAnthemEU50 initiative was a celebration of Ireland’s 50 years of membership in the European Union. Young musicians and singers across many Music Generation areas performed Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy' for Europe Day. Ode to Joy is the official EU National Anthem.
