There is an ajeeb si attraction in this composition and lyrics❤️ Can't define.. that's the beauty of it. Plus I've listened to other versions of this but Jawed Salamat gives some other touch which others can't... There is something Raw in his voice..

These qawwals are "ganda-band shagird" of ustad nusrat fateh ali khan sahab, their father was nusrat sahab's father's shagird and their grandfather was nusrat sahabs grandfathers disciple

Javed Salamat Sb has sung this kalam/Song at different times and every time he has sung it perfectly. there is a strange spirituality in this Kalam/Song, the poetry, the composition and the way he Sung it was kamal , which directly touches the heart. This is beyond next level. Surprisingly, am unable to find any decent videos of Bakshi Javed Salamat. This Qawwali is the most soulful music I've ever heard. Almost listen to it everyday. Love to find and listen more of this great master. I think this was recorded very close to his passing on.
