8:25 One thing that I like about the OSTs from Attack on Titan is not only how emotional it can be, but how well it actually describes the story itself. Just like you described it, that little pause there kind of represents the war in the world of AoT, where you would think like "Oh, the worst has already come, it's sh*t, but it won't get any worse" and after that it actually DOES get worse and the music hits you like a truck afterwards, just like the events in that war would (won't want to tell any kind of spoilers).

Like you say, the blending of the modern sounding synthesisers with the classic orchestra and choir is incredible. Without spoiling anything, it also suits a lot of the themes of the show. The interesting part is how the use of synth and electronic elements fits the change of story themes in season 4 - for reasons I won't say due to spoilers, the existence of synth and electronic elements is a motif itself, and even when going back to Youseebiggirl/T:T in the last vid, the synthy elements in those songs, which were overall more orchestral, also made sense thematically.
