pd is more focused on visuals then on the music production bc they're a film producer - not a music producer, but i highly request them as well, they're a really good kpop reaction channel! [pd's pronouns are they/them & they'd appreciate if people wouldn't use male pronouns, just letting you know :)]
@firasyam62826 жыл бұрын
Vv l lol I'm a new fan of him or "they",sorry. yeah, pd does commented on those stuff, and that's because it's a music video so they have to consider them in, yet they still have a good amount of music comments... and they also do some other type of review, like where they listen to the full album and talk about it more musically. so yeah, not hating on this guy channel, but I just want ppl to also check on Form of Therapy channel if u want to see more producers react:)

I am a music producer too, and while I do not like the song itself I have to say there are some nice things going on in this song. Some nice reverb and layering on the voices. Some slight panning with various instruments such as synths and percussion just to keep it more interesting and if you listen closely you can also hear some sounds hidden away in the background to keep the track fresh. The only thing I personally did not like in the song was the use of the same white noise impact a lot of times, could have switched it up but that is a minor thing, besides, maybe he liked the continuity of having the same white noise impacts throughout the song and I just prefer switching it up or adding layers to them.

I think the flutey tribalistic kind of sound after beat drop near the end is inspired by traditional Asian music. I’m Asian and I grew up with that kind of sound when I was a kid. Asian flutes and trumpets (that are very different from western ones) in traditional music (that I used to hear from Asian operatic plays) sound very similar to that. It’s possible that they probably sampled it from real instruments.
