I cry every time I hear this. Sappy, I know, but it is what it is. He is a very humble person. His dad was in prison, and his mom just took off, leaving him alone on the Phillipine streets at the age of 7. He started singing and entering contests thinking he could find his family. I followed him on AGT and couldn't get enough! To say he's phenomenal is an understatement!

I’m an American and white race. My wife is a Filipina who still lives in the Philippines where I visit every year. I have been going there for over 10 years and I’m still amazed by how beautiful Filipinos sing. Even people who don’t have great voices sound nice because of their pure love for singing. I can’t sing at all but every time there is a singing machine they all beg for me to sing and always cheer me on no matter how bad I sound. Also he does have a duet album where he sings this song but over laps the singing as if he is two separate people that’s even better than singing it all at once.

Guys, others may have told you below, but I needed to tell you a couple of things. He has albums in which he does double overlay recordings of famous duets, harmonizing both parts. They are mind-blowing. Also, that thing he does with his mouth after the song is because the sound engineers were teasing him about his "female" voice so he was "removing" it. Hilarious. Great reaction. Many of us have followed Marcelito for years - he is such great person, so humble. By the way, we have an unwritten code that after you hear this performance, you NEVER warn anyone when you suggest they hear it. It has been kept for a long time. Cheers.
