One of my absolute favorites of Alan's!! Just think Alan writes all his music. He is amazing. Sadly, he has inherited CMT disease from his father and is slowly losing muscle tone, experiencing muscle weakness including his voice. The song "Home" is a story of how he grew up in Newnan, Ga., their family home was built from a tool shed. Also, Small Town Southern Man is a tribute to his father. A little trivia...his mother's maiden name was Music.

You two are friggin' adorable & extra cute today. This one is awesome & it especially hits me because a couple months ago I saw him in an interview & he is suffering from some rare neurological disease. It makes him shaky & off balance & he said he finally had to tell people about it because it had progressed & he didn't want people to think he was drunk on stage. You guys need to check out the song he wrote immediately after 9/11, called 'Where were you when the world stopped turning'. Super powerful. This man sings beautifully; however, his lyrics are what makes it extra special. Then for something fun, check out 'It's 5 o'clock somewhere' with Jimmy Buffet (The guy who sings the fun song Margaritaville), 'Gone Country' 'Don't rock the jukebox' or 'Chasin' that Neon rainbow'. All his songs are not so serious, honest. LOL 'Drive' is a good tune by him as well. A song he wrote for his Daddy.

Please react to Allen Jackson Stroll over Heaven. It was his mother's favorite. I think the best version is the live version with his mother in the audience ❤❤
