Matchbox 20 could be the most underrated band of the late 90’s early 2000’s. ALL their albums are phenomenal, especially songs that may not have been commercial hits.

Matchbox 20 came out with really new, meaningful songs with Rob Thomas and his great voice. Their debut album is great. You'll enjoy the rabbit hole. As a fellow Billy Joel superfan, Matchbox 20 also has many sounds and diverse styles. "Smooth" live in Mexico with Santana and his band is pure joy. Great reaction!

Matchbox Twenty " Overjoyed" is another awesome song, that has banjo in it, to check out. Kyle Cook is an Incredible guitar/banjo player!! All of these guys are super talented! They have a huge catalog of fantastic songs!! They've been together from 1995-2004. They took a few years apart to do solo projects etc. They got back together in 2007 to present. So they are still together to this day.
