These are not cows, but reindeer. Their horns have rare healing properties and are in demand. And the "doggie" is called "scribe" - the northern fox of the canine family. Это не коровы, а северные олени. Их рога имеют редкие целебные свойства и пользуются спросом. А "собачка" называется "писец"- северная лиса семейства песьих.🙂

They were not cows, but reindeer, they just saw off their horns. They are bred in the north as livestock for skins withstanding very low temperatures and meat. There are nomadic reindeer herders whose herds of deer reach thousands of heads. They roam the pastures all their lives and live in huge yurts with whole families, not knowing what civilization is.
