Pro level pianists just need the key or even a chord progression and can usually figure it out by arpeggios and chord theory. Note and chord theory are a bitch to learn but they help out tremendously. I've won a few giveaways by guessing guitar tunings and scales a few bands have put out. Theres no way I could've played that on piano though.

You loved the song and I love the song and your reaction to it. I'm also admiring your piano improvisations to it. I always wanted to play piano and never found the courage (I love music but my attempts at guitar and drums as a teenager proved that I gave no musical talent). 4 weeks ago (with over 40) I finally started. I'll never reach your level, but I hope that I will some day be able to play my favorite songs (like this one) after having time to practice them. Ronnie told his viewers in his twitch stream that he didn't play the piano on the recording, but that he is playing piano since he's been a kid. Knowing Ronnie's ambition and perfectionism I'm pretty sure, he learned to play the song for the video. If you want proof, that he plays piano you can find a few very short videos on yt, in which you can see him play. He also plays guitar and drums. I don't know much about singing (can't carry a tune to save my life), but I suspect that he's so good at articulating the words in a way, that even his screaming is very understandable, has something to do with him being a good rapper as well. I couldbe way off, though. If you want to check more Falling in Reverse maybe try Carry On next. Or the triology (Losing my mind, Losing my Life, Drugs). Subbed! Greetings from Germany!
