This is my all time favourite song by Nightwish. The guitar solo doesn't stand out as much because there's a keyboard line mimicking it at the same time, which would fall away if the guitar would be louder. This song you have to really listen to. Instead of letting the music wash over you as you would normally, start listening more carefully to the music. There's a lot hidden in there and it's all done on purpose, with a purpose

Butterfly's from our past. Like the people we have met on our journey. The uillean pipes. Very much like a human voice. Very expressive. Much of this record approaches all instrumentation as a part of the whole rather than focus on a particular instrumental solo. A concept choice based on the focus of time and our recollection of the past. IMHO
