Thundercat is honestly one of the most supreme musicians of this era. Every song of his completely oozes funk and it's incredible that he's slept on so much!

who would've thought that ariana grande had a voice for jazz.... and can actually harmonize with another singer as a BACKING VOCALIST?! Thundercat never ceases to just completely amaze me. he's the most exciting, unique and revolutionary musician of the past 30 years. his is a sound that excites jazz purists, funk nostalgists, hip-hop heads and pop music lovers alike. it pains me to think that he's still relatively unknown by so many music lovers!!! from 7:07 ....they're all just right in the pocket. it's like their minds went into standby, and their heart and soul just took them over... it gives you chills.

So i came across this channel, and im blown away almost, Youve done a few bmth vids and im super involved with it, but theres a band called Thornhill and their album "The Dark Pool" even if you dont do a vid on it, listen to it, its so deep and musically brilliant id reccomend "Nurture" but theres a great piano fill on "Nether place" but its a double barrelled song with the album finale.. anyway i only ask that you listen bcs i was truly taken a back best part, check out how old those guys are, making music that good at that age is truly something admirable in its own right
