I have to say that since I follow your channel, I think your tutorials are very well built and ones of the best ! I mean it's clean, it's not rushed, ect ! Excited for the next episodes ! I have been studying music theory for over a year now (just about every other day) and I was struggling to piece together scales, Major, minor patterns, Scale intervals, roman numerals, relative minor/major keys and all that jazz to the point I was pulling my hair out!!!! Oh shit got complicated even though I know most of it. Btw I thought if let's say in C Major chord we put a bass note E or G which are also part of the chord it's becoming new, more complex chord I dont know to name haha but there is this shit D over F or whatever its called like.. Anyways dope video and it would be cool if you could share some 'tips' about making sick melodies cause I have watched millions of tutorials about it, read music theory books and still struggle to make a good melody. Sometimes it just happens or it simply doesnt lol. Is that how it really works or there is some useful theory that could help?
