Thank you for your time and humble presentation. The troubleshooting portions were very helpful showing how to think about what's going on and what needs to be going on. I had a bunch of questions regarding the process of implementing audio reactive objects and materials, this video was well worth the time. You answered my current questions and showed a bunch of things I didn't even know I should know. Other tutorials I've found show how to do what they're doing, but don't really explain the process so it can be applied in different ways. I feel I have a much better understanding of how to think while creating a pipeline and can actually put some of the concepts from other videos to use in my current project.

Hey Gediminas, The effort you put into your tutorials and the clarity they offer are incredibly impressive, and I really can't help but tip my hat to you. I create internal wikis for my company and always try to ensure that everyone can follow my tutorials (myself included eventually, hahahah), but the work you voluntarily put into this is truly remarkable. I want to express my sincere gratitude to you and am always grateful that there are people like you who spend their precious time wanting to teach others something. Thank you!

I’m a second year architecture student in Edinburgh starting on your autocad course, and recently moving to rhino and then unreal. Your courses are super helpful for me and all my friends I recommended it to. The Rhino part 1 tutorial is continually referenced in my studio at the moment as we all get to grips with the software. I’ve subscribed to your Patreon as I’m very grateful for the support you’re giving away for free across the internet. This audio tutorial couldn’t be more perfectly timed! I’ve recently started and architectural acoustics & spatial audio course and i’m really interested in this topic. Please consider doing more down the line! (I notice you also have a rhino grasshopper acoustics tutorial). Thanks a lot!

@@DesignGoBrr I have been a music-producer-weboo for a few years now with backgrounds in music from my early childhood. After 4yrs I have self-taught to work with DAW, I am generally satisfied with progress made so far although the outcomes are not yet release-ready (doesn't mean I have given up on becoming big in music yet!!!). With my workplace gradually shifting it focus onto video-production although I mainly run and manage information system (network, routing, storage, etc...) to support editors that I work with, I thought it would be handy to be comfortable in both visuals and audio. Having been a life-long self-taught leraner in many things, I know that it is the moment in which the first piece of creation functions as expected that my soul and passion take off (or they don't), and that being crucial is the way I keep my focus and interest on the subject during the first few months. Having come across this tutorial has pretty much garanteed that I won't run out of fuel to keep my passion going strong in UE. Massive thanks from Japan.

@@DesignGoBrr Not that I’m seeking for any help-desk sort of thing but here’s something I became curious about: It’s by clicking the “pick a song” button that a dialog for opening a music file would appear, and so I thought I’d do a little experiment. I added “O” key connected to a flip flop (as an anti-chattering mechanism in mind) in parallel to OnClicked, so I could just go “press M, then press O” to open a file. It is after I pressed “M” for the first time that “O” would start functioning (as if should) but with M pressed again (hence with widget now hidden), “O” would not cease to function. Any thoughts? Any ideas, guesses on why the key-bind not be unloaded with the widget hidden?

I have been using unreal for about a year now as a full time indie dev... I didn't find a tutorial to explain unreal engine better than yours! I wish to had an Unreal intro tutorial like this... I suggest you create an unreal engine beginner level tutorial, or make chapter 1 another video with a different name so many people can find it easier!

Gediminas, these series are highly innovative, especially with the combination of GH and UE5! Thanks. ☕🌟 Question: The movement of the parametric wall elements in close shots appears wobbly and ghostly. Is that a limitation of UE5 or an exporting challenge? And is it possible to reduce the speed and have those parametric elements react in a more natural way, similar to a rigged mode?

Quick question RE: metascan downloads - how do Quixel newbies find the cliff face texture you have on your local drive? I have signed up as a member, but cannot find it. is it a paid-only asset?
@DesignGoBrr

Quixel doesn't have paid stuff - as long as you're using the epic games account - everything is free. the cliff face might be downloaded from polyhaven.com though (also free, no need to register)

Is it normal for it to run at like 6 frames per second and generating 55,000 objects when I hit play or is that a mistake on my end? I can't see your frame rate but I can tell its running smoothly for you, I'm sure I made a mistake in my blueprint somewhere but haven't managed to solve it myself yet. thanks for your time.
