The worst part of the playwright ending imo is getting the first encounter for it. Not only that, but winning it. If you get it too soon, you fail the run, if you don't prioritise encounter nodes, you don't get the encounter (and in my experience getting the first encounter is such a pain WHY DOESN'T IT SHOW UP) I've beat the 4th ending on more than half the squads, but good lord I stopped trying to beat it on all of them because of just how nightmarish trying to get the first encounter is. But of course, there's also the boss who is just honestly bs. You have to have good items in order to beat him. You can't even just cheese it with Irene as there's always gonna be something to stop you from doing enough damage. Then the normal lane mobs are also cancer to deal with. Hell. And the story you get for beating it isn't even interesting, just some shady vague shakespeare bs from this catboy nobody who spends too much time writing.

Oh btw since I stopped my IS2 all squads all endings journey, I am now doing SSS trying to trim both maps. Irene Carrot Mine done, relatively easy once you get a good strategy down for each map. Can't let myself catch a break from rng hell can I 😭 But TORON MINE. Absolute bs. Runs can get screwed and end just by sheer bad rng in your deck, and bringing 5 supporters doesn't help it either. Even stage 4(?) The one with the left lane that lizards and black armor dudes come doen from. Even that earlier stage can screw your entire run to get the trim just because of bad luck. And the petrification on the boss stage isn't much fun to deal with either.

I used ebon once when there were some caster buffs. I placed him so he'd hit the boss when he left the tunnel. But I was distracted by mobs and after a while getting confused b/c the boss hadn't appeared, not knowing Ebon had 1 shot him instantly earlier

I cant count the amount of times that I got a caster recruitment when having 5 hope and by that, losing Eyja Me with 3 defenders and 3 guards and the game is like "oh but would you like another defender?"

Hello, I'm new to IS2. How do you get to to pick the E2 ver of your ops instantly during the voucher?

I didn't show it in this video, but whenever you start a run, the game will ask you to pick a starting buff. These starting buffs can vary from giving you more stats, more starting hope and ingots, or a bunch of other things. The starting buff I picked here makes it so whenever I recruit a caster or a specialist, they are immediately E2. I think the game tells you how to unlock these in the selection screen at the very start of a new run

To unlock ending 2 you must beat ending 1 To get ending 2 first you find the encounter in which you can either lose or gain one hope and choose the lose 1 hope option To make the boss easier, sacrifice 3 lives in the encounter with the little puppets, then get the encounter with the blank suicide not For ending 3, you must have beaten ending 2 First, you get the relic that makes your ops 2 dp more expensive from an encounter (pre floor 3 boss) Then, you get the relic from floor 3 boss that gives you a small stat boost Finally, you get an encounter with a relic that decreases your ops dp cost by 3, then beat the floor 5 boss For ending 4, you must have beaten ending 3 I think First you find the prison encounter before floor 3 boss Then you find the playwright encounter before floor 5 boss Then beat floor 5 boss That's pretty much it
