Hi Electronoobs, I love your videos, and I recently watched your video on your escape room, because were planning on making an escape room, and I was wondering if there's a way for a video to be played on loop on a screen (about 100mm x 100mm) and then when the arduino is told the previous puzzle is solved, It plays a different video on loop. I've been looking online, and not really found anything, but I don't even know if it's possible, because arduinos have such little flash memory, but I was thinking about maybe using a sd card reader, with an sd card that has the video, and perhaps connected to a small monitor via a hdmi to hdmi cable or hdmi to usb-c cable, with a breakout board on the side connected to the sd card reader. Thanks in advance for if you do this, and keep up the great work!

Thanks for the video man..🤩 I saw the video of franzoli(no music no arc) on instagram a month ago and was very much fascinated to build one but couldn't find the circuit anywhere. So i tried building one myself using a lm393 based audio detection module controlling the pin4 of the 555 timer through a pnp transistor to invert the output . And got it working after few attempts. It was fun building though.

Make one like franzoli's musical flyback driver.
@mrfrog85023 жыл бұрын
If this is LC tank circuit capacitor supposed to be connected across the primary coil not the transistor. This would explain weak spark and high power consumption. Also music would sound better if you'd use PWM modulation not threshold detection like in this project.

Very very thanks buddy you are soooo helpful I have been wondering to make a musical tesla coil.... But I don't know the circuit..... Your every project helps me a lot..... I made a Inductor meter with the help of your video and increased its range from 2 nH to 11H by developing your code..... Lot of love from me for this new video also as it will help me to build my musical tesla coil..... ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Try in a Bunsen burner flame with a wick of saltwater feeding into the bottom. (Need high temp wire for the probes). Been a long time since I did this, but got great results. Wires can be farther apart, too.

I built a plasma speaker with a 555 timer for a college project. They’re fun to play with!
@taherpatrawala_2 жыл бұрын
Can you explain how you did it? And whether I can use the same circuit to make musical Tesla coil?
@seabeepirate2 жыл бұрын
@@taherpatrawala_ I don’t think my circuit would be suitable for a Tesla coil driver but the basic concept might be reworked. I was using a flyback coil from an old CRT and the 555 timer’s main function in the circuit is a DC pulse width modulator to resonate the flyback coil via a FET I think(sorry it’s been a while) and that kept the arc turned on normally pulsing at the coils ideal frequency. I remember there being a balancing act between the biggest arc and the best sound quality which could be adjusted by tuning the pots in a resistor-capacitor setup along with the adjustability of my input volume. The audio input worked as an interrupt setting the output low on the 555 effectively turning the arc off at the frequency of the music so too high an input signal results in overdriven quiet. It was a really fun project! You can find similar circuits on Instructables if you want to build your own! Check out ZVS power supplies too if you haven’t already.

Curious if it's possible to do this with a high power audio amp, an isolation transformer and then something like a microwave oven transformer or the ignition transformer from a furnace oil burner. I saw a video where someone demonstrated the dangers of high power amplifiers and he powered a box fan with a signal generator playing a 60Hz tone into the high power amp.
@PhG19613 жыл бұрын
Many years ago I did similar experiments with HV with recycled transformers from old school CRT television sets. Many times the HV hit me... I admit, it's a little bit anoying and it makes your hair standing up... Of course, very low amps, so I survived... This video is a little trip down memory lane.

Here's how well a singing arc/plasma speaker can REALLY work: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZpSmmWyKm9WAsNE (bear in mind the schematic I show is wrong, here's the corrected schematic: drive.google.com/file/d/1AqnFsBBgQhiS-L3Ek__QWLm7_X_IdJrh/view?usp=sharing ) another singing arc experiment I did: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpvYZ4Ggg7KpoKM I even did this with a ZVS: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oYnbYYGuosiHp5Y

@power-max3 жыл бұрын
That first circuit is drawn very strange, I'll need to look at it more closely. Looks like it's a self oscillating design. Class E operation? The second one is much more typical. That's an IRFP460 which is a FET not an IGBT, BTW. IGBTs aren't great because of low efficiency. They lose ~2 volts in conduction. They are good for high voltage low to medium frequency and high currents. MOSFETs have a voltage drop proportional to current. Also on the 555 timer, feed your audio signal into pin 5. You will get much better audio. Although using a PWM chip like a TL494 or TL594 will have be ideal.

Hi, i made one with 555 by fine-tuning frequency i got max arc with low power, if frequency is not current it will take more current and less arc. And be careful if you use such HIGH VOLTAGE circuit with smartphone. I successfully damaged my 3.5mm audio port of my smartphone with my high voltage generator..😅
