I realized that in every live performances of April , the "hot topic" is yena's lines or parts in the song .. If DSP just gives her lines, then those people will shut up .. even myself as I tend to complain a lot too..

lol some people also like to complain about every detail. When Dream Candy was out, so many complained Naeun didnt have enough lines, then when Muah came out how Hyunjoo's parts were too little, and now that they both have many parts, no one congratulates them... oh, the irony. I just tell people... enjoy the music (^_^) April is a group, and they sound great as a group. They dont need to compete amongst themselves to make fans happy... we love them as they are. They debuted little over 4 months, they can only get better from here on forward. Yena may not have many solo parts, but she still has many fans (including ME! lol) So clearly DSP did not make a mistake in including her. (>_

For those that may not know, Yena does the lowest voice in APRIL. The raspy low voice when they harmonize is Yena (^_^) She is also the main dancer, both which hardly gets solo lines lol. Also, Current APRIL songs are high pitched, not within her vocal range. But once concepts start changing and the tones starts dropping we will be able to hear more from our baby squirrel. Like the Ruby cover for example. Its almost an octave lower, and Yena sang a whole verse there. Nina Kessler Apparently you dont understand the point. Its obvious she can sing. But if you know about octaves, if you sing in a key range outside your attainable range, your voice isnt stable and you can go out of tune. As a professional singer, you dont have to be a main singer to be a singer. Look at choirs, someone needs to be auto and base. Not everyone is a soprano. Its about stability not only being able to reach a note. Its not called excuse. Its called awareness. Ask any vocal instructor... not everyone sings in the same range and they fulfill different positions within a group. Yena herself said she trained to be a dancer and that she was training hard to improve her singing skills.

HighDee FineApple APRIL I am a singer, the only way you can expand your vocal range and improve your singing is singing in other octaves, experimenting with new tones. I am not saying that I want her to sing a solo song or want her to be a main/lead vocalist, I wanna hear her sing, I want DSP to make a fair line distribution. AND let me tell you that when you say "a voice isn't stable", you know that anyone can sign and take control of her/his voice, even tho your voice is low pitched? stop saying that she is the lowest voice and that's why she don't singing, anyone who know about singing can sing in any tone, Yena can do it, saying that your justifying this unfair fact, this is not about vocal range.

Nina Kessler No, I didnt say she cant sing cause she has a low voice. What I said is that the song is too high pitched for her range Have you heard other APRIL songs? Listen to Jelly, Thriller, When you Open Your Eyes, all a whole octave lower and Yena has a full verse Fair is according to parts, not according to line count. She is an auto-baritone voice, for which the main function is harmonizing, that is also a part. If you were a singer you should know that. And dont assume that I am not one either. I am also trained. You being a singer does not change the fact that Yena's voice is not trained to singer higher ranges. To increase your vocal ability it can take years. Which is what they do during practice. Did I say she will never sing higher? Nope. But as of now, her range is not there. And if you were an actual APRIL fan, you would have notice a big difference from the first albums to the most recent ones In the newest album, Yena has many more parts on the newer songs of the album. But still main vocals, lead vocals and sub1 gets more lines. Thats the structure that almost all group songs follow in general.

HighDee FineApple APRIL yes, I listened all their songs and also covers, I know how DSP manage the lines and how it works, anyway we're not discussing if I am a fan or what a fan should do. I am trying to make you understands that Yena can at least sing ONE line per song, in Spring, you can only hear her voice in Jelly and a little in Wake Up (amazing songs and all slayed lol) 'cause in the others songs she sings poorly a few short back lines. again, I am not saying I want her to sing a "high pitched" solo, or her to sing like Jinsol, I know her voice is the lowest in April, but also in Apink, Chorong's voice is low pitched and she sings in every song. is my opinion of course, Yena can sing if she wants, at least for me there must be others reasons why she don't sing. her vocal range can be low and also short, but anyone who is a vocalist CAN adapt the voice to any tone. hope in their comeback she get a line as in Jelly or Feeling.
