This is so respect-less to the man's private life, as if recording him and publishing it wasn't enough, now he has to come play with the young people while he's already a legend, just to make money of his talent and show him to the crowd? just play his music in the disco, give him what he deserves and let him live in peace and wealth.

I agree with you, and also not. I never heared of Bitori and came to see his show in Amsterdam - Paradiso last year - africadelic festival. I never heared of his music and just rolled into it. Right after the show I was very aware he's truly a legend. He's treated with so much respect by his younger crew members, looking after his wel being, asking him to play the next song, I can only say I am just happy =)

Get the point but... is he unhappy? Can't remember how I arrived on Bitori, but I would be a little disappointed (with his legend) if he himself would pull this card (of course I get he's an old man entitled to whatever choice about it). Plus artists and inventors have that itch for life...
