And it should be easy to work this out with a little software or a click because they are spot-on keeping time, I have a feeling they never use a click track except maybe to find an initial tempo, Louis often pushes the tempo up as things go along and everybody is happy to follow along!

Just in case you are still wondering about those spaces, I can help out with that, which actually can be counted in 16ths (depending on if you consider the song being either 79, or 158 bpm). Here is an unconventional, but hopefully understandable diagram of when the hits happen. The "H" is for when they Hit the notes, and the spaces in between the 16th note groupings indicates the next bar. H 2 3 4 First, four quarter notes. H 2 3 4 H 2 3 4 H 2 3 4 H 2 3 4 In the next bar they start cycling through 5 16ths 4 times in a row... 5 H 2 3 4 5 H 2 3 4 5 H 2 3 4 5 H 2 3 4 ...followed by the spacing turning into 6 16ths for 2 times in a row at the second 4th... 5 6 H 2 3 4 5 6 H 2 3 4 ... and is followed by a bar split in two by essentially 2 half notes. 5 6 7 8 H 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Mind you, my theory knowledge isnt perfect (just like my English), but the rhythmic patter is definitely such as I wrote, and it can be easily proven, if you slow down the song and try to count along to it as I described.

Your reaction is more genuine and in depth than any of the other clowncore reaction videos out there for sure! Including the other "computers" reaction vids. I did an edit/loop of the Louis' drums n' keys and Sam's incredible sax solo parts of this song. Some of the Best music I have ever heard from 2 individuals let alone many. I also made a good loop of the first half of the computers sax solo because they cut it short before you can make a full loop in it's entirety. Also, the d*ck on keys part of "Toilet" is and forever will be a classic. Awesome sounding music at it's best parts plus all this additional fun. lmao. I just like extracting the real music pieces from it. I noticed in a lot of their songs you can edit and put together a couple songs at once. serious musicianship parts and then the cooky parts.

While I watched it I thought to myself, "Ok, these guys have formal music training and experience. They're not just some amateurs." Then I saw Louis Cole do the videos with that college band (F It Up and Thinking About You). After seeing the humor in those videos, and recognizing the style of playing and humor I realized that Clown Core was Louis Cole. After doing a google search I saw there was a time when no one knew who the clown core guys were, and I felt like I had discovered some great secret. After that I searched a little further and saw I wasn't the first to figure it out, but I felt like I had!!

The drummer can multitask even more than that JW. Watch 'Clown Core - Computers'. It is funny you mentioned Buckethead, because I've seen people wondering whether the drummer is him. FYI the guy just drives the van, it is a duo. They also do songs in a portaloo :)

Cheers! Definitely up for doing more Clown Core. Did we ever get a confirmation on Buckethead's identity? I can't remember. I do recall the theory of him being Paul Gilbert going strong for a while.

@@JWSoundworks2 Buckethead is Brian Carroll. There is a podcast/interview in 2017 with him and a therapist (Coming Alive Podcast).

With your obvious musical talent I really enjoyed your reaction to this. Have you heard or ever reacted to the Mars Volta?I recommend The song Goliath. Love to see you break it down. Cheers from Vancouver Canada!

Thank you for the kind words! I've been a long time Mars Volta fan, dude. Fantastic band. There are quite a few bands that have been requested now that I can't react to as I've already heard their work. But I have considered doing a "review/analysis" type video for those. So I'll add that one to the list. Amazingly unique band. Televators is probably my favourite song of theirs.
