🙏 a big hello from Holland 😊 🎼 Richard’s opening here very much reminded me of Douglas Reeve… in the first place; I enjoy listening to Richard’s playing…. and the sound of the mighty Wurlitzer..👍👍👍 🎹

Those selections made by Richard are all based on the piano selections published mostly by Chappell in the 1940s to the 1980s which he adapts and performs most brilliantly. The arrangements of Felton Rapley and Cyril Ornadel come to mind. They were all about 8 to 10 minutes long and very well crafted. There was a large album of them published in the 1980s under the title Glamorous night linking with the Sam Costa to Radio 2 music programme. Thank you so much Richard for keeping this style of music now totally ignored by the BBC alive !

Wonderful, thank you all involved in the production and , or course, especially to Richard. It made my evening when I saw the notification and realised it was Richard playing. I'd love to see him at the Wurlitzer more frequently.

Would you PLEASE play the mighty Wurlitzer of Radio City Music Hall sometime :) I have tried to play, you have a beautiful GIFT from God! From an old boy that use to tune the old pipes :)
