This song was sung during their concert before Eunkwang was off for the military service in 2018. That's why the entire members were singing the song that says they have to meet again someday...

Thanks for this reaction. SOMEDAY is a sad song but this concert version was a bit sadder coz this was their last concert as a complete group coz Eunkwang was about to have his mandatory military duty in a few days time, I believe. He'll be the 1st one to enlist followed one by one by the other members. So their singing of Someday was emotional..hoping that they'll be together again someday..to have that good feeling and look forward to seeing each other again someday. While the version during the fanmeet was also sad..coz this was their 1st performance after everyone was through with enlistment.,they were all together again..but now missing a member., and Hyunsik was the one rapping Ilhoon's part. Also you can see that they were all emotional too..and the song just fits exactly how they felt missing him and maybe wanting to say the same message to him..that they hope someday they'll be together again. This song will always have this bittersweet feeling now everytime we hear it.

I cry every time I watch the Someday stage from their This Is Us concert 🥺 it was BTOB's promise to Eunkwang and Melodies. And now, it's become Melodies' (and, I believe, BTOB's) love song for Ilhoon

They were extra emotional in that concert because it was before Eunkwang's enlistment. "Someday" has always been an emotional song and one of my favorite Hyunsik song but it's now extra special for me because I always think of Ilhoon whenever I hear this song.

The meaning of this song has evolved throughout the years. During released of course it was about a loved one. During the concert (second video you watched) - they were very emotional and were tearing up/crying because this was the last concert before their military era. They were about to send off Eunkwang to the military. That meant they wouldn't be together as a group for a few years. So this time "Someday" meant, they would someday be together again as a group. During the fairly recent concert (first video you watched), "Someday" had a different meaning because it was the first time (?) they sang this after a long time, and it was for Ilhoon. So yeah, the meaning evolved throughout the years.

The first performance was the first fan meeting after everyone got back from military after Covid… the second was from the last concert prior to them going to military.

If I'm not mistaken, the second video is the last time for them to do a concert as ot7, before Eunkwang enlisted to the military, and the fist performance is their first time doing this song with just the 6 of them without Ilhoon, and it's make me realize they are not ok at all because their voice is shakin so much....😢😢😢😢

i know they already told you that that was the concert before Eunkwang left but, also, some months later Changsub enlisted and then Minhyuk, Then eunkwang returned one month before Hyunsik and Sungjae went away so this was basically the last time they were going to be together for like 5 years
