Same here. It honestly makes me feel so bad when seeing other people playing piano. I've wanted to play it since I was a child, but I never actually got to start until 7th grade. I'm 21, and I just recently, around age 20, started taking lessons off and on. It's a semester thing, and sometimes I can't get in a slot, and I miss the semester. I was taking some from an old church friend, but she seemed to get super impatient with me, and so I haven't seen her in a while. I still suck at it after all these years. Like...just how? I am literally going to d*e without ever doing what I want to do...

I absolutely love the 1 hour song. More on the Epic side than Horror. Sounds more like something in which the monster is the protagonist. For some reason, I am imagining a pianist who was giving the best performance of his life when the concert hall went up in flames. He was so obsessed with his performance that he did not stop and burned to death. And now he is hunting down the concert goers who fled instead of listening to the end. I imagine him luring the victims with piano notes, kind of like a siren, and then they are transfixed and unable to move while he plays and they burn alive.

This is my biggest thing! It's hard not to come off just nit-picky or whatever but I feel like whenever he writes for dark emotions (evil, sadness, fear etc.) - it's grand and incredibily virtuosic, absolutely, but I feel like if he scaled back the shear amount of flex and fitting in of theory, take a less is more approach - it'd let a truly emotive melody come through.

Hey, I'm glad you enjoyed the experience! This is an art form I've been trying to pioneer for a while, the idea of a "music story" because the imagined story is sometimes better than a real one. I'm so happy that you loved it ;)

I’m gonna be completely honest, for parts of the 10 hour one I was just so focused on reading the incredible story that I honestly forgot there was music playing.

WoW 😲 The fact that you can play these types of pieces are amazing but you can compose too!? And I'm a pianist also so this is so mind blowing to me. Five stars on all fronts and a like from me.

Wow I'm just awed at how good your work was especially for the 10 hour one. The music fit the story so well.

Even without the storyline, the 10-hour piece can be played anywhere and the audience will absolutely love it. It is amazing!! And I don't even like horror and I love it. :-)) [I like the 10 minute nd 1 hour pieces too.] [I lied. I like all of it.]

Holy crap! I thought this guy was just alright but then I listened to the 10 hour song. Not only was the story believing but the music was incredible! His music completely sucked me into the story and I have to admit I thought I was there for real and was a little scared. It is just awesome what he can do, I could listen to it for hours. Continue making great music!

As a person who gave up piano 2 years ago, hopefully this will motivate me to get back into practicing more.

For me, all the pieces up to the 1 hour piece sound more like they should be in an action movie of sort, not very horror based if you ask me, nevertheless i could never produce anything on this level myself, and it is still amazing work!

5:01 The 1 hour looks like a theme for a Demonic Castle or a Haunted Mansion, and when it gets more motivated 5:44 it looks like monsters comming out and the person inside the place running away. 6:56 Here it looks like the person is fighting back or managing to escape, sounds like hope. 7:48 This looks like action, but more like if the monsters caught the person. 8:01 And this looks like a sad theme... 8:30 Here the person dies.

Wow, loved the 1 hour one and was pretty amazed what you put together in 10 hours. I was reading the story and the music really helped set the mood of the images that were playing like a movie-reel in my mind's eye.

what i imagined during each of these compositions 10 second one: sneaking around evil knights guarding the overlord's lair 1 minute one: the knights spotted you and are throwing javelins at you as you run down the twisting hallways 10 minute one: you run up to the overlords chambers trying to lose the knights 1 hour one: you open the door and close it tightly behind you, turning around you see the overlord waiting for you, you have no choice but to fight them 10 hour one: you are now in the afterlife, a figure bathed in shadows approaches you. your vision is gone, only darkness can be seen. you get the feeling you are not alone. you open your eyes, was it a dream? you stand relieved but this house you woke up in only slightly resembles your own, you think you must still be dreaming, so you go back to sleep, when you wake up next there are eyes looking at you. looking around you see more shadow creatures, they surround you and pick you up once again covering your vision in darkness. except this time you know you cannot simply wake up, you are resigned to the fact that they are taking you somewhere. somewhere... warm? somewhere familiar. You realize where, your heart stops, and your breathing becomes labored, you try to scream but nothing comes out, you cannot move you cannot do anything, you are going to the underworld of endless torture. its the morning, your family finds your blackened body contorted in ways that show your broken bones protruding out of your skin, your mother faints, your sister throws up, your dad cries, your brothers face, is blank. the last one doesn't match exactly scene by scene as you read it so keep that in mind and as always this is just what my brain came up with for these (ik some bits are cheesy)
