“Basanta”
The season of Joy - referred to as the period of spreading love and compassion. Nature adjusts as the time for a new beginning has arrived and acts correspondingly. The song is inspired from Basanta Dhun, the ancient folk tune sung along the Nepa Valley as a celebration, expressing gratitude towards nature.
Holi, a festival of colors followed by “Basanta Panchami'' is celebrated all over the region with a happy and peaceful plan. It also signifies the victory of good over evil and celebrated as a day of spreading joy and happiness through colors.
For this occasion, we intend to present you a musical souvenir celebrated by 69 artisan performing their artistry. Poetry is inspired from the popular rhyme written by Nepal Bhasha Janakabi (People’s Poet) Durga Lal Shrestha.
We hope all the listeners enjoy tuning in with this harmony as much as we relished creating this beautiful piece.
Lets welcome the season 'Basanta' with a beautiful beginning.
