Enjoy a one hour mix of the original soundtrack from one of my favorite movies of 2017, Blade Runner 2049. This continuous mix, cut and rearranged, contains all the scores from the motion picture soundtrack by Hans Zimmer and Benjamin Wallfisch, minus various songs. Let this be the way the soundtrack was meant to be heard!
Original music composers: Hans Zimmer & Benjamin Wallfisch.
I DO NOT own any of this content or monetize from it. I made this mix as a genuine fan for fans. I have nothing to do with the ads added, it is KZbin. Thank you for understanding.

Reading the comments I have to agree, I feel privileged that I've watched this masterpiece in the theatre with my wife. Most of the people left half way through the film. Such a good fucking movie, I saw it in theaters, 16 at the time. Being 19 now, it's still easily one of my favorite movies. The soundtrack was literally one of the best things I have heard in a film. My lil story to the movie: As a huge Blade Runner fan I had to watch this one in the theatres when it came out. I picked an old small theatre; they used old plane seats from the 70s, huge and comfy. And I didnt go when the movie was released but waited a few weeks. So at that evening there werent many people in the cinema. It was silent and I could feel that the other people were BR fans too. Of course watching it was amazing, although after watching it only one time, I couldnt possibly grasp all the hints and meanings. The best thing for me was though, when I left the theatre, it was dark in the city, there were no people (the theatre was inside a luxurious restaurant, so the people stayed there after watching) and it was raining. Its as if the atmosphere from the movie carried on to real world and I walked home, in the rain, enjoying every second of my way home, thrilled by the experience I had while watching while it continued, even when the movie was over. I wont ever forget this unique experience. Those movies will always be a special part of my life.

Most underrated film of all-time. Should've broken every record there is, acting 10/10, cinematography 10/10, ambiance 10/10, creativity 10/10 story line so far ahead of it's time it's insane. Did I mention it's a sequel to a movie that's a 10/10. Sounds 10/10, atmosphere 10/10. MOVIE 10/10.

I've finally made peace that BR is simply not for normies; even many people who enjoy sci-fi. Everything Philip K. Dick, & BR appeals to a very small group. The Critical Drinker is my best movie review channel & I was gutted when he just didn't get 2049, or the 1st one, from the manner he referred to it. It's most unfortunate that anything big budget simply has to have mass appeal to make the grade. I still don't understand the advertising & promotion for 2049, & the 3 anime which I only found a year after their releases. Hardly anyone knows about the 3 director commissioned anime that fill in parts of the timeline betwixt the 2 movies.

On my first watch I didn't really understand this movie. It takes a few watches before you actually appreciate and understand what it tries to do. I will say I definitely agree with you. First watch I'd give it an 8/10 after the third watch, yeah it's a solid 10/10. Great movie, great atmosphere I think it just won't appear to normies who don't watch it consecutively which is really sad because this movie really highlights how ironic and chaotic the human condition is. I give Ryan Gosling his due. He deserves to be recognized for this film. He did a great job.

When those spinner limos appeared and turned … I can only describe it as soul goosebumps, and still can’t figure out how Villeneuve achieved that affect [affect, not effect]. Nobody has the guts to make movies like this now. And that’s a shame coz classics like this are rare enough as it is. And I don’t think any other director could have pulled it off. Hearing the music for the sea wall sequence gives me goose bumps especially when I hear it through headphones. What on earth goes through the mind of a man who can create a sound like that. It really pisses me off that sci fi movies never get academic recognition. Even ones as good as this.

(after 13 nominations and thinking it would NEVER happen he finally won for his 14th nomination "BR 2049 and the 15th "1917") Deakins is why Villeneuve's films look fantastic. @@ketochiesesoyyo Bro 7.1 is only marketing for headphones, you have two sealed sources that sound is coming from straight into your ears. It only works for speakers. And if it's a trick of the way the sound is mixed to simulate a 7.1 speaker setup through your headphones then literally any headphones can play that back, it's the quality of the playback that matters the most when you're listening with headphones rather than the format. If you really want to experience surround sound or Atmos then I suggest visiting a home theater forum and asking around.

@@bishoscorner4945 absolutely. Social media and smartphone addiction are making attention spans shorter and shorter. People can't focus anymore. But it's not only that: it's also the constant stimuli people receive using smartphones. Therefore, anything that takes a little bit of time and doesn't have constant stimuli is considered "boring" immediately. That's one of the reasons MCU superhero movies work (I have nothing against those movies, they're good entertainment, but just that, entertainment). Really sad what's happening, people are missing on real life. It makes me sad when I see people taking their dog out for a walk and they're so addicted (they don't even notice) that they just can't stop staring at their phones... truly hijacked.

Saw this movie 4 times in the theater. This is hands down one of the best soundtracks in film history. Still gives me chills from the first notes...

Zimmer just finished this movie off with Perfection! No one else could’ve done a better job. He is just in another league. Probably his most underrated Score as well. Deep, Dark, Atmospheric, and Futuristic. Just perfect in every way possible. So emotional.

I watched this film in IMAX on opening day, the theatre wasnt as full as I was expecting. There was a smile on my face once the intro started, I held my girlfriends hand for the entire film. She loved Blade Runner just as much as I did. After it was over, we couldnt stop talking about how amazing it was. We went home and listened to the soundtrack right away. We drank, we smoked, and we made passionate love. Eventually we fell asleep holding each other to "All the Best Memories are Hers/Tears in Rain". One of the best memories of my life, and hopefully the same for her too.

One if the film's themes is replication. I hope you replicate many times together.

I highly recommend listening to this with headphones...in a darkened room.... It's a truly emotional and orgasmic experience. The highs, the low bass, the subtle background track. You will be truly blown away. I was....

This film is one of the best I’ve ever seen in my life. I watched it three times in the theater and have the DVD. I even bought Sapper Morton’s scalpel from the intro scene to open my mail. I can only hope there will be another Bladerunner film in my lifetime.

Movie logos at the beginning of a movie never gave me the amount of chills the ones at the beginning of 2049 did.
