Anyone who says they have a problem with Jim Cummings' films or him, in general, will have an enemy in myself forever. Big time heart emoji this video.

Jim’s takeaways from stuff is funny. He makes out like Thunder Road (short) didn’t really result in the feature being made easily, but it clearly facilitated that process as he mentioned with the one producer being on board for it, not to mention the Kickstarter definitely being buoyed by the short as a marketing tool and also just proof of concept. Then he directly says Thunder Road winning SXSW lead to Wolf of Snow Hollow getting ‘green-lit’ directly because of that win. Yet anywhere you look he’ll say that festivals don’t help in furthering one’s career. It’s strangely like he still holds an old conceptualization of what festivals provide, or what getting something made in Hollywood is like anyway, but it was always precisely what he’s saying he’s been doing since; packaging talent, scraping together the resources to make a project, etc.

Thunder Road is a 'must.' An absolute 'must.' Cummings is a phenomenal talent.

@@themusicbed Yes, probably ten times off and on. Still have yet to watch Beta Test, but definitely want to. Snow Hollow is a blast! "Uhh...I'm gonna need you to stand up to your full height, please." Haha!

I’m a fan of Good the Podcast and is a fan of Christian’s MB Artist Spotlight he did many years ago on Vimeo. Such a legend! If anyone asks me what inspires me to be a filmmaker, it’s him and MB. Please create more stuffs like that, and produce some behind the scenes video, it will attract and educate more people on filmmaking that moves the heart. Tbh, I’m kinda bored with ‘filmmakers’ on KZbin with all the shining rigs and trendy & fancy video transitions! 😂
