Sometimes I procrastinate by watching courses and tutorials to avoid the process of making music and making mistakes or feeling stuck. I’ve learned though that every success is built on a mountain of failures. It’s a process I’m still working through looking for progress over perfection. Your videos always make me want to get back into it and see the hard work really does pay off.

It definitely CAN be a trap! As I said, sometimes we don't need more knowledge just more actions so I think it's a balance to find :)

Studio One (S1) is a great choice too. You can concentrate on making music instead of being lost in cognitive overload. I have averaged releasing 1\week for the last 3 years with it. I can create pro music as fast as the ideas come. Plus the S1 youtube tutorials (by Gregor and Joe Gilder) briefly and quickly cover each topic. Gregor's are more geared to what we do. MIDI leaning etc.

Great video. You know I started with FL studio at 16 but my college tutor forced me onto cubase, I was very opinionated and fought back for many months but when I relented and switched the learning curve was steep but oh my god the magic flowed!

I've watched numerous NI Maschine videos, but the workflow still confuses me. Ableton Live on the other hand makes totally sense to me 🙂

What was that course you took that gave you action steps for 30 days, Kaigon online course on studio? 5:05

Is there a course that's just pure action steps?
@musicbyplv2 күн бұрын
I don't think you can have just action steps. It's important to understand WHY otherwise it's just dumb to do things without knowing why (in my opinion). But the good ones are the ones that have many action steps in between the lessons :)

The best advice I was ever given is to say "All I want is bitches, the big booty bitches" in as many different ways as possible... that's your melody. I dare all of you to prove Mr. Sparkle-San wrong!
