I am aware that this is sort of a weird place to be getting sentimental, but, y'know, Nightcore was a huge part of my life 7 years ago. Still is very important to me. 7 years ago, I was actually struggling with a very bad depression. It never quite got better for a very long time, and when looking through my old stuff I can find a lot of evidence of that. I never suspected that I'd make it to my 18th birthday, or make it past it. But today I am enjoying life to a degree. I'm not free from depression, and might never be, but I am doing better. I used to sh, but I've been clean for 3 years by now. I used to stay in my room all day, and didn't finish school properly due to my depression, but I've started school again now. I saw no beauty in life for a long while, but now I can go outside and appreciate the smallest of things in life. I've discovered a lot about myself since this comment was first made. I came out as non-binary, officially got my ADHD and autism diagnosis, and realized that salad is actually very tasty. Life is beautiful, despite its hardships. Even now when society is sort of crumbling, I can still go out and enjoy the sights of the trees, the sky, bugs... And that's something I cherish deeply. So, as a tribute to my younger self, who is still here after all this time; life gets better, and so I'd like to thank you guys for 3.7k likes on this comment, my mom will be getting the camera, because I'm famous ♪
