Steve Perry "Wheel In The Sky" King Biscuit Flower Hour, 1978

In late 1977 Steve Perry was hired to replace Robert Fleischman as the lead singer of the group Journey. This version of the song came from the King Biscuit Flower Hour which was done in 1978. Enjoy.
UPDATE!!!: Since I have posted this video, I have learned that it is not a demo version of the song, but a version from The King Biscuit Flower Hour. I am sorry for posting this under the wrong information. Where I found it, and on a few other sites, it was listed as a demo. Either way, it is still a great rendition! Hope you all enjoy!

Listening to this early version of the song with Steve Perry in his prime almost makes me swear. Talk about a true golden voice. He could do absolutely anything with his voice in this era. Absolutely spellbinding!

And yes, Steve Perry was hired to be the frontman, after it was already stated Robert Fleischman was the new lead. So he did replace Fleischman. That alone is basic fact to any die hard Journey fan. Your information is incorrect. Journey is my ownership. Perry is my husband. I own Journey the name and wrote all the music. He was not hired to replace anyone.... The band.... Dino and the Dynamos played the music for my and Perry's Wedding in Windsor Ontario Canada,,,, at the Fogolar Furlan Club in CANADA Perry was 13 and I was 8 years old. His brother hired the band to play for us as a gift. What do those American Idiots Warren Betts and his Hose Bag Sell?
