I would have paid a million dollars to be in that room for the read through, not only because I'd get to hear the movie and the songs, but also because of all the AMAZING Broadway performers who were there. This song was EPIC!

Hugh Jackman is one of those few, rare big stars that have remained kind and humble despite huge success in showbiz. I could think of just one (Keanu Reeves) at the moment equally modest despite achievements in their career. No wonder of their longevity and relevance still in such a cut-throat, competitive industry. They are real passionate actors and performers, not just dumb celebrities.

Some of the stitches on Hugh Jackman's nose actually ripped open from singing, so he went back to the hospital after singing this to get it fixed up again^^

What happened in that room was pure magic. You can almost hear the music building up and filling their hearts. The love they all had to get this film made was incredible.

I think it's because Hugh is a real family man and if you watched the movie (spoilers) the song was sung after he lost everything including his family... Maybe that's why he couldn't hold back... 😋

This guy who is such a great actor was in Supergirl on The CW. He filled in for Hugh Jackman on the singing parts there, because there was something going on with Hugh Jackman’s voice. I can’t remember what.

The singer that Hugh took over from at the beginning of the song was none other than mega talented Broadway star Jeremy Jordan. Jeremy has a video on KZbin that explains how he was brought in to sing for Hugh and then Hugh just took over from him. I believe he was also trying out for the part that ultimately went to Zac Efron. You should check out Jeremy Jordan because he is just an outstanding performer.
