This is a new (bit more than a year old) supergroup from some of Japan's greatest musicians. They all have history (Bassist plays with Marty Friedman, Guitarist is in a famous instrumental band called D_Drive, violinist is famous for shredding on Bang Dream, Singer has played with Band Maid members, etc) that shows their skills. You should check out Evolve extended version it is their first track - came out last August and we were all impressed.

I'm actually addicted to Cross Roads, is so damn good and catchy. Evolve is amazing too, what a song to debut

I highly recommend that you try all their official MV's. They are all excellent songs. And the band itself is a super group. The members are all Jedi level musicians. The violinist (Ayasa, band founder) is a member of BanG Dream's Morfonica; she is very well known. The bassist (Wakazaemon) was/is a tour member of Marty Friedman band - she is a freak on the bass; Guitarist (Yuki) is a current member of a prog metal band D-Drive; she is an excellent guitarist. Vocals (Akane) was a former member of Predia (10 years). Drummer (Mizuki) is an excellent session musician and is a current member of Lonesome_Blue.

Just here to click the thumbs up and ditto all the recommends for hitting Evolve Extended Version next. It's rad and was my and I'm sure many others initial exposure to East of Eden.

This was one they were hired to do for a TV drama. It's not representative of the band's original work. Evolve is the place to start for face melting..

May I recommend Versailles Revenant Choir live, this is an amazing Melodic Symphonic Power Metal band from Japan.

You should check out some of their other videos. This song was done for a Jdrama, so that's why there's no real guitar/violin solo. This group is a top tier supergroup, hands down.

The older dudes, at least some of us anyway, are trying just as hard to not laugh at those presentations too. We just have more practice at it. I should add the subject matter in the presentation is not funny at all, but the awkward as hell way the presentation is delivered can be absurdly funny.
