if you are doubting they pre-recorded or not and couldn't enjoy it fully because of it, you should just go straight to the live stages or I suggest you to check the tiny desk performances for next. BTS members are the league of their own. Even with back track for certain performances, you can hear their vocals louder than back tracks. And they don't really like to lip-sync. when they do you don't doubt. because you'll know. they don't hide it. but mostly it's for songs with priority for choreo or performance.

@@BtsyearJK2025 They don't lip sync. They have a have backing tracks for dancing and such. They don't pretend to sing all the parts, especially while dancing. They always have their mics on. And have gone out of their way in multiple performances to prove they're not lip syncing.

They don't lypsync if one of the misses their part due to not enough air when dancing you don't hear that part. You hear if members voice cracks, they will move the mic away from their mouths also to make it clear they ain't singing. They had to do this to prove they do not lypsync.

The tiny desk concert you will see that he sounds exactly like his album. It's crazy how good he sounds live.

For most of their live performances, there’s behind-the-scenes footage, and you can tell it’s live. They often have backtracks for the ad-libs but they don’t lip sync. There have been many cracks in their voice, wrong timing, sour notes, but thats all part of the live experience. When they were young, the younger three would cry about it. They are now more accepting of their mistakes. There are a lot of videos about this (as well as their mistakes while dancing).

V's the best served live. Stage presence warm emotive vocals and just overall artist. Just the best Korean artist on the global stage.

About singing live, at 4:43 the melody was changed from studio version and other live performances. Taehyung changes phrasing or melody during live performances which makes it easy to notice it's real and not lipsync. The music is live also. They probably did multiple takes and chose to upload the one with the most charming and playful interactions. Slow dancing has many instrument solo versions that they practiced and the band improvised before filming.

@@DrumRoast The title is a bit strong (you're obviously not a hater don't worry!) but it's a useful short guide. It's more aimed at people who don't know much about BTS and might be judging them as a straightforward 'boyband' (which they are not). Another good video is 'A Guide To BTS Members: The Bangtan 7' by Taylor Mari. It's longer, but very watchable! That one doesn't cover their last couple years of solo work, but it's still a good intro.

That's a live recording of the band practice. I've play and sing in a band so yeah I know and I'm a sound engineer. V is the jazz lover and he plays saxophone one of 2 saxophone players of the group. Jacob flew in he's plays sax and flute. oh you can hear and see a few minutes of V jamming on saxophone with band.

10:33 their reason isn’t known but a lot of times they either share the same band or have one for overseas and have one for Korea or travel with the band.

@@DrumRoast yes please :) and you made me rewatch again the Busan concert..thank you for reminding me of how great that concert was…fun fact, they streamed this live thru weverse and it was the worst live stream (it was the first live streaming for a concert at that platform)..buffering just white screen lol ARMY had to look for bootlegs real time lol .I remember being so upset I want to fly to Busan that day hahaha

It's live, but I'm pretty sure they did multiple takes, because they did multiple for tiny desk as well and there were behind the scenes footage of it at the time. Not for this one, though BTS doesn't lipsynch usually and we know because when they do it's pretty terrible 😭 they're sooo bad at it

I would like also to add about BTS live performances, they don’t do “shortcuts” . I for myself have watched many artists, western and Kpop…and I could recognize what is true live, pre-recorded live and enhanced(manipulated /dubbed)live performances .

BTS always do it live. This was a live performance. BTS are better live.
