When he mixes in the lead guitar, the realization of the level of skill kicks up to another level and the face you make is so relatable and thats ultimately the moment that people want to share and why reaction videos exist. Fabulous moment.

The thing apart from the technical skill is how he´s able to seperate the different layers of the composition/voices. The control of the dynamics of each tone is totally mindblowing! And, as you said Jeff, it´s not l´Art pour l´Art to show off the techniques but he´s so relaxed and he´s grooving along... amazing.

I've played guitar for 42 years and I have never in all that time seems such skill. People speak of killer guitar players and rock gods. This man fits the definition in every way. Unhuman proficiency, in Crystal clear sound from beginning to end. Incredibly amazing.

There's many others too like Sungha Jung, Alexander Misko, Luca Stricagnoli, or the OG Tommy Emmanuel. Check them all out! This guy and Sungha Jung are my favorites personally.

Thanks so much for not constantly stopping the video after a few bars and giving your opinion like so many other people do, which interrupts the flow of the song. You decided to leave your perspective and thoughts until the end - thank you for that!!

I saw Chicago live in Melbourne back when they were hot and making waves. This version of their famous song is worth the time and great listening. Well done Kent.

I totally agree - he really wins on both sides, as if everything else wasn’t enough in itself🤯😍🤩🤯😍🥰💝. Subscribed to him after my first listen to him🥰💚🌱. Jeff, I really don’t know how you manage to release a video reaction every single day everything taken into account and even though, it is a labour of love, as you say - it IS a lot of work put into it, and I truly appreciate it ALL!🙏🏼💜💝💖🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🕯️🕯️💫🌟✨🌈 Thank You❤️🤗.

Guitarists that can play bass lines/rhythm/and lead lines all at once are just another breed man! I would highly recommend Mike Dawes "Jump" tribute to Van Halen. It's phenominal!

Feng E also does this and plays mainly ukelele but also acoustic and electric guitar. It’s insane and he only gets better and better over time. Child prodigy. Insane.

Since the video, he has learned how to do the ending solo live while playing the rhythm!
@jakemarlow8998 Жыл бұрын
In addition to his technical and physical virtuosity, here's what also boggles my mind ... he had to listen to the original song, dissect it, figure out which alternate tuning to use (C-G-D-F-Bb-D), then re-compose the song. For the viewers who haven't tried to arrange a solo fingerstyle piece from scratch, it can get super complicated - especially if the song has a lot of movement and variability. There are a lot of professional big-time fingerstyle guitarists who wouldn't be able to pull this off.

Ive been watching this kid for years. His cover of Rocketman is good just like everything else he does but if you ask me for 3 covers other than this one that really have that extra "WOW" factor in them. It would be his versions of Easy Lover, Another Brick in the Wall and Careless Whisper.

Quite talented this guy technically. Your facial expressions are outstanding when hearing something splendid. I have not heard the original song for a long time. So I listened the Chigago version, and must say, that todays teens should study the music history. Terry Kaths guitar solo is insane. And Peter Ceteras voice and tone is unreal.

Kent is one of my favorite guitarists. About 2 months I discovered another fantatic artist on KZbin, who goes by the name Marcin. His last name is Patrzalek. He became famous in Poland, but he came to the US a few years ago to study music. He reached the top 5 on AGT. Please check out his KZbin channel. I recommend his renditions of Carmen, Asturias, Kashmir, Toccata, Fur Elise, Bethoven's 5th, and Moonlight Sonnata. They are all fantatic! He's currently 23. He's been publishing YT videos for many years already. Like Kent, he's a natural talent that started young. He's already put out stuff on Vevo and Candy Rat, and currently has a contract with Sony.

Wow….what kind of tuning is he in? I’m just wondering if he’s in some kind of open tuning to get such a fast action and close proximity of fingering transitions😱😱His timing is incredibly precise, and his drumming is on point ……..OUTSTANDING 😎👍👏👏👏

If you check the original video, Kent almost always puts the tuning in the info.
