How can you not help but smile during this? From the masterful guitar playing and wonderful tone, to the smashing drum sound and him staying in his lane aside from his solo, to that keyboard player and the Rhodes? Wow! What a pleasure!

Oh yes Valeriy I might have mentioned him a long time ago. He is one of my go to artists for this kind of music really love his musicality and I think he is a genius. This time with Martin that I found through Valeriy a long time ago. That drummer is something too and I think you can find him on more tunes with Valeriy. This rabbit hole is deep I hope you got enough time to explore it there is so much to listen to.

Its so great to find some other people who dig valeriy and his musicians. Wish we could have a coffee room where we can just watch together and drop jaws.. He's mind blowing. His chord sequences and composition reach deep into my creative soul.. Problem is i can't play at that standard. Iive worked a couple out. BUt amazing. Martin is incredible, i saw him live 2 years ago. wozer. Thanks for sharing with others. I try to also, but not many react to these genius,s Have you heard Valeriy play drums, sing and play guitar. He does all the mixing and production.. He's not of this earth.

Can I suggest Jeff, that this is like another "Dirty Loops" type moment for you? I was lucky enough to come across Valeriy Stepanov not long after finding the "Loops" about eight years ago and it's such a joy to be led into another genre of music by some of the best musicians around at this time. Just don't know how we spread the message World wide though as the "radio" media hasn't joined the party yet, more to their shame. Thanks again for your reactions

First thing I’m really picking up on is the dynamic between the music and the guitar, like… the music is driving forward 70mph (figuratively speaking…) and that guitar melody doubled on the keys is just kinda chillin’, vibin’, it’s a cool dynamic - juxtaposition, perhaps? Drummer’s going *off* in that solo, then the 👀 - we’ve got a supercomputer in the guise of a person here hahahaha 😂 Guitar solo - GUTHRIE GOVAN VIBES!! 🤩 I love those types of runs where they ascend, but the notes are pull-offs/descending, it’s quirky! 😂 🧐 It’s also *so* tasteful, not a note out of place, the craftsmanship is 🧑🍳 💋 👌🏼 I got John Petrucci vibes as well when he was doing that downward run on the two strings where the two notes on the lower string were upward-moving. What’s going on haha??? 🤯 Amazing! ✨
@StrateleStudios2 жыл бұрын
Dude great comment! You play guitar?
@wilksy20082 жыл бұрын
@@StrateleStudios No haha, not really. I mean, I *have* one, but I don’t really play it. I’m musically educated, got two degrees, inc. a masters, so I know a little bit from a few years studying and learning, assignments, essays, etc. However, I do love the guitar, it’s such a damn expressive instrument and I’ve been into players like John Petrucci and Steve Vai for many years, just to mention a few. Lot of appreciation haha 👌🏼 ✨

@@StrateleStudios Oh, wow 😳 Ok, so this game, Journey, not long turned ten years of age, pretty much a masterpiece and an absolutely *stunning* score by Austin Wintory. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, he totally went and dropped a live version of the soundtrack with the almighty London Symphony Orchestra… 😭 💖 There’s one song in particular that I have very fond memories of, not only because it essentially sums up the game, but just for the sheer beauty of it, the raw emotion... All my friends that are my age listened to and played classic rock. Me too, that's what we grew up with. They think everything sucks now. I tell them some of the best musicians, singers and bands like EVER are out there right now. Because mainstream music is horrible, inane drivel, you have to search for good stuff. If it weren't for youtube I never would have heard about these guys, Matteo Mancuso and others.
