Thanx Jeff for doing this gem! Told ya this is a special treat for us and Dennis spans such an immense timeline with ALL the important "influencers" in Funk, Jazz, Fusion. He is and always was such a modest but SOLID keeper of the pocket in his own right. This showcase just demonstrates his meaning in the musical world! It had me again turning on the well a bit... love this man. One of his late projects is the 2017 "TRYPNOTYX " album with Victor Wooten and Bob Francescini and this trio is so wholesome in reflecting the musical evolution + the Avant Garde - just incredible -> Link to the Live concert here kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKvKmqtqa66Bhc0 .
