Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This is a compilation from shows in 2013 through 2020. The crowd's mass headbanging occurs wherever BM goes on this planet. In this video, you heard the crowd shout some words at 05:28. The words are "ki-e-ro 消えろ!" meaning "get out of here!" (addressed to crybabies in the metal concert). This crowd's shout in Japanese occurs whenever Su-Metal turns her mic towards the audience. Of course it did in 2019 US tour (20 gigs in 18 states) and 2020 European tour (17 gigs in 11 countries). In 2021, BM played this song in all of 10 BABYMETAL BUDOKAN Concerts. After some two-year long hiatus, they have recently restarted activities and held two-day shows near Tokyo last month. I witnessed both shows at the venue and enjoyed this popular song with Su's matured voice and Moa's more agitating moves. Did I do headbang? Oh yes. You know Dogeza banging? Dogeza (= kneel & bow until forehead touches the ground) is the most abject and disgraceful way to show apology or unconditional surrender in Japan. We never see people doing it happily and smilingly in other place than BM concerts. I understood Dogeza became the most honorable way to show strong tie within BM fanbase in the world when I saw many American people doing it at The Forum, LA on Oct.11, 2019. So I did Dogeza 2 times last month with bliss celebrating BM's return.

I've seen every Babymetal concert that has been professionally recorded. What you see on KZbin isn't even close to the concert DVDs. Their music videos are one level. Then the Official Live videos are a level above that. And the concert DVDs are a level past that.

@@Codametal I don't know if she really watches them. It's mostly she and others in team Babymetal know that the level they perform at, is a bar they have to hit every time because people expect them to. Which for a lot of people would be anxiety inducing. But they still deliver. Take a video like: "The Chaos of the METAL GALAXY World Tour 🌌☄ | BABYMETAL (2019 - 2020)" which shows Babymetal is closely watched for any mistakes, but also if you look at the comments everyone is fine with that because they deliver at such a high level. So if they ever see that video, I hope they see the comments about how flawless they are, the number of mistakes is incredibly low.

Welcome back to the Fox Hole 🦊 and great reaction again. Any stage designs you saw were foxes, there is a whole lot of lore and history surrounding BABYMETAL and the Fox God that you will pick up on the further you go with them. 'Headbanger' is about a girl going to her first concert on her 15th birthday. 15 is significant in Japan as that is the age when compulsory education ends, so the girl is realising she will no longer be considered as a child, her first 15 years have passed by so quickly and life will never be the same - so she is etching this special night into her heart so she will never forget it. Lead singer Su-metal (you are not wrong, she is very special - the whole concept of BABYMETAL was formed around her vocal talents and stage presence) was just 14 when they first recorded this song. At shows in 2014 on or near their own 15th birthdays Su-metal handed the mic and stand to Yuimetal (in Paris) and Moametal (in Cologne) half way through this song. They finished the song as lead vocalist while Su-metal slipped seamlessly into their spot in the choreo. The same thing happened again in 2019 when Moametal took over lead vocals to celebrate her 20th birthday (her official coming of age). Sadly Yuimetal had left the band in 2018 because of poor health or there is no doubt she would have done the same. As has been said, this was a compilation video with clips from I think 10 concerts between 2013 and 2020, so you got to see many of their incredible stage shows and productions - and the same number of costume changes (the more red in the costumes the earlier it was). You also got to see that they can control crowds of thousands (the biggest crowd in these clips was 55,000 people at the Tokyo Dome in 2016) and how the crowds follow their lead (this is one of the main roles of the choreo) jumping, pumping their fists, shouting etc when they get their cue from Su, Yui and Moa (or since Yui left from the chosen Avenger dancing in the third spot ... you will learn about them as you dig deeper and continue exploring BABYMETAL. They will be releasing another new song, the 4th from the upcoming album, some time tomorrow I think (calculating the exact time from the Japanese time will take me too long right now). I hope you will explore more BABYMETAL songs - they have over 50 and each song is different to the last. You already have some good suggestions - and I will echo Jake Muller to say look for his comment under your 'Karate' reaction for the best advice of where to find more high quality live performance videos.

Welcome back to the Foxhole, it's been a while 🦊🤘🔥 I remember your previous and first BM reaction, glad to see you're back with more BM songs, like i told you before more new singles from newest album are coming, one of them is gonna be release tomorrow, and with a live sound unlike previous single METAL KINGDOM with studio sound. This song is one of BM all time classic and beloved by fans, is especially meaningful for this girls too. Song is about a 15 years old girl celebrating her birthday going to her first live concert, probably metal, while having melancholy for leaving her childhood behind. Isn't about any of our girls but they embraced this song like it was made for them, you'll find many special versions of this, even when they celebrate their 20th Birthday. 15 is an important coming of age for Japanese girls, 20 is another important date, although since last year officially the age is 18. With that said, the live version we usually recommend to enjoy BM experience without falling in this live compilation with clips going around different BM era and live shows (it seems you didn't notice), is Legend 1997 live concert held in 2013 when SuMetal is celebrating her 16th Birthday, there's a safe clip to react at Gans Tomas channel. Anyway to prevent this next time i highly suggest you to go back to my comment on your Karate reaction and follow instructions where to get safe clips while enjoying the best BM experience with full original clips and without copyright blocked issues. Thanks anyway and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥

Yes, BabyMetal is often called an experience, and believe me, they are They get a response like this anywhere in the world . They did a tour across the US in 2019, 20 shows across the country all sold out from New York and ended up at a sold-out LA Forum. Then, the European tour in 2020 from Glasgow to Moscow 19 shows all sold out . Su's voice and stage presence are what the whole band was built around, and Kawaii ( cute ), yes, they are even more beautiful in real life . One German reporter about to interview them said when they walked in the room, " i forgot what i was going to say," checking his notes! you are so beautiful. " I see them again in April at Wembley Arena. I can not wait . Happy you put your toe in the Foxhole and welcome 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Good to see you've done another BM live performance video. And very happy that you enjoyed this song. They have over 50+ songs and each one is different. But I guarantee that you'll always go away with a good feelings in your spirit, and a smile on your face (or tears). All three of the girls are pretty darn cute, not only physically, but their personalities match as well as you will come to discover as you learn more about them. And they are some of the most humble artists in the business. Please continue your BM journey down the foxhole, the fans (called The One) will be here to answer any of your questions. My suggestions for your next series of videos encompasses Megitsune (prounounced meg-it-soo-nay), Iine (spelled with an 'capital i' and pronounced 'eee-nay'), Doki Doki Morning (their very first released single), Road of Resistance Live in Japan, No Rain No Rainbow from Baptism XX (Su-metal solo), Pa-pa-ya, From Dusk till Dawn, and pretty much any other song. 8-) Welcome to the Babymetal Galaxy.

Welcome to the Foxhole, nice reaction! BM fans are very committed...and maybe some of them should be, #notacult. BM are very theatrical and Amuse, their agency, has the resources to put on amazing shows. Their choreographer is Mikiko Mizuno has worked on Olympic ceremonies and so you are going to get amazing shows. You have reacted to a compilation video with performances from 2013 up to 2020, but Babymetal were formed in 2010 by a producer at the Amuse talent agency called Kei Kobayashi as a subgroup of the school themed J-pop idol group Sakura Gakuin. They were so successful that in 2013 they were spun off and have become a metal group that can fill major international stadiums. The lead singer is Suzuka Nakamoto and the backing singers and dancers in the video are Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi and the band is the Kami Band. The song "Headbanger" is a early one and is about a bittersweet coming of age of a 15 year old girl. She goes to a show using her children's train pass and gets lost in the music and the mosh pit and then realizes that she won't have such moments of abandon when she is an adult with responsibilities and she vows to remember the feeling and the night. It's a fan favourite and has a lot of good chances for joining in with shoutingand jumping; part of Yui's and Moa's job is to encourage the crowd participation. Next I recommend you react to "Road of Resistance Live in Japan".

Really loved your reaction. Very obsrvant and insightful. I'm assuming you figured out that this was a compilation from a number of shows. Which demonstrates if nothing else their consistency as performers-they always give the proverbial 110% and the astounding creativity of their always changing production. Just for your background. As young as these performers appeared here they are currently in their early to mid-twenties. But have been performing since an early age. Babymetal was actually formed in 2010 when Sumetal-lead vocalist-was 12 and her two accompanying singer/dancers were 11. They are now and actually have always acted like seasoned professionals.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🤘 As mentioned (and argued about) in the comments, this was a compilation video with footage from several concerts. 'Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!' was one of their early hits. The song is about a fifteen year old girl attending her first heavy concert. Even so, lead singer Su-metal (Suzuka Nakamoto, or "Su") was only fourteen when this was first recorded. It's not biographical, but it is a song she could relate to. At that age she was performing on stage, rather than taking the train to go see concerts like the girl in the song. Their live concerts are amazing. It doesn't sound like you've heard any of Su's solo songs yet. Here's 'Rondo of Nightmare' with a short instrumental lead-in by their live Kami Band: kzbin.info/www/bejne/boildZyCgrONmac This Budokan Black Night performance from 2014 is a classic.

Nice reaction again. I don't remember if I commented on your last reaction since it was posted about a month ago, but I'll pretend I didn't. First though I'll say this. Yes you are right, The One (thats the name Babymetal gave to their fanbase) are VERY passionate about Babymetal. Most of us are older than these girls, and almost all of us view them as either our baby sisters or almost akin to our kids, watching them grow and mature. We take a HUGE amount of pride in watching these girls develop into the beautiful and talented ladies they are becoming. So I believe it is for that reason we are so passionate and so involved in the Babymetal concerts. We want to be able to show these girls how much they mean to us, so we do all the jumping and singing just like they do when they give us the cue to do so. Now to assume I didn't say anything in your first reaction, I'll introduce the ladies for you. Main singer goes by the name Su-Metal. Her real name is Suzuka Nakamoto. She will always have a hand-held Mic and her hair will always be done in a ponytail. Next up you have Yuimetal (pronouced Youie. Like Louie, but with a Y instead). She had to leave the group in 2018 due to health reasons. Her real name is Yui Mizuno. Her hair will always be done in pigtails. She is backup vocals and does majority of the dance routines with her partner. Her and her partner look similar enough that many people have a hard time telling them apart. As such you can tell them apart a couple of ways. First off, Yui's hair is a bit "puffier" and more curly. Secondly, and more visible is that Yui has very chubby baby cheeks. She is also considered the better of the dancers. Lastly you have Moametal (Pronouced Mohwa). Her real name is Moa Kikuchi. She is partnered with Yui as backup vocals and also performs majority of the dance routines with Yui. You can tell her apart from Yui because of her huge dimples when she smiles. And she smiles OFTEN. Also, her hair isn't as curly as Yui's, so while she also will always have pigtails when she performs like Yui, her hair doesn't "poof" out on either side as much. Lastly you have the avengers. When Yui left, there was a void that Babymetal realized needed to be filled, but they also felt Yui could never really be truly replaced, so they had stand-in dancers that would fill Yui's role as a dance partner with Moa. You'll know you're seeing an avenger because they neither have a ponytail, nor will they have pigtails. Instead their hair will be done in twin buns where the pigtails WOULD be. So sort of like Princess Leia from Starwars....sort of.. Hers are a LOT bigger and on the side of her head instead of on the top...but close enough I suppose. You get the general idea I hope. Anyhow, hopefully that will help you a little. Oh, almost forgot... The musicians are known as the Kamiband. There are now 2 "versions" of the Kamiband. There is the North American Kamiband composed of ... well.... North American Musicians, and then there's the Eastern Kamiband composed of Japanese musicians. Bother Kamibands are very talented and amazing. So there you have it. Hopefully you keep the Babymetal coming. I think for the most part you'll find the Babymetal fanclub to be a good bunch of helpful people. Babymetal lyrics are general songs preaching about bettering yourself, staying positive, and sticking up for each other, to respect one another. So you'll find that the vast majority of us will follow these tenants out of respect to the girls. So if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. Somebody here will have the answers.

I'm not a big fan of these compilation videos. This one is not bad as such, and it probably does a good job at proving that every BABYMETAL show would be awesome to be at, but I don't think it's a good recommendation for new viewers. For BABYMETAL more than any other band, the visual experience is important, and jumping to and fro between different shows on different stages with different outfits (and at least 5 years of difference in age) hampers this. Nevertheless, you obviously didn't miss the fact that they are a very interesting and unique band. Welcome to the Fox Hole!

In a lot of ways I don't mind the compilations when done well. They help with the the copyright censoring, and they give the reactors a nice ability of how much effort Babymetal puts into the production of every show. My only critique is sometimes they are done a little too well and the reactor doesn't even realize they are compilations. lol

Compilation videos are, in my opinion, an insult to both the viewer and the band; the music is certainly overdubbed, and the changes in venue and costumes (sometimes even personnel) can be confusing if not completely annoying. Watching a BABYMETAL compilation video is like eating prime rib after somebody else chewed it. You didn't react to BABYMETAL, you reacted to a highlight reel of BABYMETAL.

Some of them are pretty ok and showcase different ages venues (in particular - there's even a brief shot of Tokyo dome )which many reactors don't get to see, costumes etc - and may often be the only way to get a track up without those Amuse morons causing problems - as they seem disinterested in promoting them things like this are a lot better than nothing
