everybody talking about cory henry's keys solo on "lingus". but the guitar solo on this song must be thinking "what about me?"

that rhythm is in 4, but counted 1 2e+ e+a +a|1 a2e 3e+ e+a and so on. . . . starting on beat two, play 3 16ths with an eighth rest in between, so the whole thing offsets. . . .

yeah that odd part is really cool bc it's technically in 4/4 but it has a 5 sound due to the riff being played there
