@@YesterdaysYouthTVCheck out Big Bang. They were the first truly internationally successful kpop group. Their biggest hit is probably 'Fantastic Baby'. Big Bang is also the reason Felix has a niche. They were the first to have the token deep voice member do the rapping instead of singing.

----------------------------------------- About Stray Kids (aka SKZ): ------------------------------------------ Leader Bang Chan flew from Australia to Korea when he was young teenager and trained at JYPE for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha w/ two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote/produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the unusual opportunity to help develop his own group (which they did through a survival show, but Bang Chan pretty much got to hand-pick his own members - again, HIGHLY unusual). When Stray Kids was formed, 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha writes/produces (and often composes/arranges) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over time the other members have also gotten involved in writing/production. 3Racha also still writes for themselves/performs on occasion. Several of their songs/videos are on KZbin. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but one left in Oct 2019. SKZ have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha (unofficial sub-unit) - main dancers (Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix (deep-voiced guy). But all 8 members are very good dancers. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha (unofficial sub-unit) - main vocalists (Seungmin & I.N). But all 8 members are great singers and switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin & Felix. However unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can rap/have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. They're all fluent in Korean and also sing/rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music goes hard all the time. SKZ also write/sing beautiful ballads, and some of their songs have been on K-drama, J-drama, anime, video game & movie soundtracks. They also collab with and/or write and produce for other idol groups and solo artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S. ---------------------------------- Fandom name: STAY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MEMBERS 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing/production unit): Bang Chan - leader of Stray Kids & 3Racha, main songwriter/producer/composer/arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs Changbin - main songwriter/producer, main rapper, composer, vocalist, dancer Han - main songwriter/producer, main rapper, composer, vocalist, dancer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other members: Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs Hyunjin - main dancer/main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used in some of the videos) Felix - main dancer/ main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing: bass---->baritone--->tenor--->falsetto Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs

That was indeed Felix at the very beginning doing the whistling. What you experienced with the in your face start was what we lovingly call a "Bintro" because that is Changbin Yes, they are all beautiful LOL Felix is very well known and a fan favorite but I wouldn't say he's THE fan favorite. The leader is Bang Chan (the guy hanging off the garbage truck singing "Clean it up clean it up, get back" (he is also on a bit of a hiatus right now from his schedule because he also has the flu) Something I like to bring up to people regarding SKZ is that they are so diverse with their music, its not enough to call them just KPop. I have a spotify playlist of about 4 hours worth of their songs that I can listen to on repeat all day and the styles and sounds are so diverse, it's almost like listening to a playlist of various artists. I'm not a Kpop fan but I'm a STAY, if that makes sense. I said this in your discord but God's Menu, Megaverse, Walkin' on Water, and their solos (Railway, Youth, Ultra, So Good, Hold My Hand, Unfair, As We Are, & Hallucination) are very good places to start. The solos are a good way to see their individual talent!

Oooooo so glad to see you back for stray kids!!! Kpop is basically pop music coming out of Korea. There's a huge variety of sounds/styles, but in general, it's all next-level production to anyone coming from the western pop scene. I'm an older American myself ( stray kids have a lot of older fans), and what you said about your understanding of boy bands is so real, but it's NOT stray kids😂❤. They're rap and production heavy in the best way. They also write and produce their own music! While only in their 20s, they have already created close to 200 songs using 40ish different musical genres. Sclass is basically an exhibition of their understanding of pop/hip hop music history and their ability to effortlessly blend together whatever sounds they want to. This summer/fall, they released THREE albums with drastically different title tracks: chk chk boom (latin inspired hip-hop and reggaeton), giant (electronic/ hip hop/jrockish), and walkin on water (old school boom bap). There's really no limit to their creativity❤. All 8 of them are beautiful and beloved by fans, though felix is the easiest for new people to recognize (and his voice is frankly iconic). They can all sing, rap, and dance. Felix also has a crazy vocal range (like INSANE), so you won't always see him in his deepest register. Ty for this reaction!!! Can't wait for more!!! Just wanted to add that as long as you pause frequently to talk, you don't have to worry about copyright with their mvs. You can show it all❤. We love to watch with you😂.

1:48 Yes they are all beautiful 😍 lol. 1:55 Felix is most known as "face" and "deep voice" of the group because he's the one newcomers most easily recognize as the "angel face with a demon voice". He also is the "main character" in many of their awards show performance intros and album trailers etc. 2:34 they literally ALL can rap and sing however if we were to divide them up on what they do most... the rap line consists of Changbin, Hyunjin, Han and Felix and the vocal line consists of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Seungmin and I.N 4:24 yes! Glad you noticed the old school rap influences. "3RACHA", the producing/writing team of Straykids, made up of the leader, Bang Chan, and the 2 main rappers, Changbin and Han are heavily influenced by old school hip hop vibes. You should check out "Walking on Water" ...heavy old school boom bap vibes. 3RACHA also have their own songs as a trio that you'd like since you said you're into rap...check out the songs "Heyday" and "3RACHA" which is a drill song. 5:11 yes, they try to make sure everyone gets a spotlight on their songs. This is my 1st time seeing your vids and loved your reaction! Straykids are truly incredible and unique so I hope you check out more of their music. I guarantee you'll have your mind blown many times. For starters check out "Walking on Water", "God's Menu", "Thunderous", and "Back Door". I'm a new subscriber 😊. So glad you followed up with Stray Kids music. KPop is often said to be popular music in Korean as opposed to the genre of pop so not all kpop is like this. There are many groups that are more pop genre and other genres. Their title tracks tend to be very high energy, aggressive songs but their b sides can be most any genre or sound. Stray Kids debuted in 2018 and write and produce over 90% of their own music with 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) doing most of it. All eight members sing, rap, dance, write and produce. Bang Chan is the leader and selected every member of Stray Kids and they formed through a reality show. Yes, they are all beautiful and extremely talented. Felix is a global ambassador for Louis Vuitton (he walked the runway for them last year) and Unicef. Hyunjin is a global ambassador for Versace and Cartier. All members are ambassadors for Tommy Hillfiger and were invited to the MetGala in 2024. They were on the cover of Rolling Stone UK and did a cover for W Korea which was sponsored by eight different designers. Bang Chan for Fendi, Lee Know for Gucci, Changbin for Dolce & Gabbana, Hyunjin for Versace, Han for Balmain, Felix for Louis Vuitton, Seungmin for Loewe and I.N for Alexander McQueen. They headlined Lollapalooza Chicago, IDays and BST Hyde Park last year and are currently on a stadium world tour of 38 cities that extends through summer of 25. They have OSTs for Deadpool Wolverine, Arcane, Tower of God, Revenge. Seungmin has multiple solo OSTs. As you've seen they also are great dancers and their live performances are amazing which will also show off their choreo. Their mvs are all very well produced and many are very cinematic. Since you mentioned you like rap some title tracks to check out would be Topline, Freeze, Megaverse, God's Menu. They also have Muddy Water which does not have an mv but there are performance videos and it is the rap line of Changbin (who btw is one of the fastest rappers worldwide just beating out Eminem), Hyunjin, Han and Felix. There are also many songs put out by 3Racha which are all rap. Some other songs to check out are Back Door, Easy, Top, Double Knot, Domino, Chk Chk Boom and District 9. Most of their songs are Korean but will usually have some English, some are all English, some are Japanese. They also have several songs on One Take which is a live Japanese recording done in one take. Those are recommended if you want to hear more of their vocals. Also along those lines would be Leave, Cover Me, Sorry I Love You and Lonely Street. That's just a small list but honestly you can't go wrong with any of their songs.

I recommend reacting to LaLaLaLa, Megaverse, God's Menu, Easy, Side Effects, Venom, Freeze, Circus, and Double Knot m/v's... to start! K-Pop, in general, offers high quality music and video production although Stray Kids is in a category of their own for several reasons. To start with, they are the only group which members were handpicked by the leader of the group and not the company. They then had to prove themselves to be able to debut together as a group through a survival reality show also named Stray Kids. Most STAYs have shed bitter tears watching the gruelling ordeal those teenage boys had to go through. Their iconic pre debut song, HELLEVATOR, created during the show was a testament to their state of mind. But the show also created a strong bond amongst them since they were not competing against each other as other survival shows but were cooperating together instead. They are a brotherhood, and we love that about them. The lyrics of their debut song, DISTRICT 9, set as an escape from a facility where everything is colourless and the same was a statement about their determination to follow their own creativity and not be another copy and paste group. Also, during that show, we got to see for the first time 3Racha (the official award-winning production unit of the group composed of the leader Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han) composing and producing their own music, which is also unusual in K-Pop. Because they create their own music, they do not limit themselves and, instead, write whatever new or old style inspires them whilst giving it their own unique sound. Their lyrics also often have encouraging messages about perseverance and cherishing being different because their journey to have their music accepted was not easy and, as is often the case with new music, they were heavily criticized at first. There are even songs about depression and loneliness, another unusual thing in K-Pop. Eventually, another unique difference between Stray Kids (SKZ) and other groups emerged as SKZ was officially recognized as their own sub-genre of music named Mala Taste after a popular spicy Chinese soup called Malatang. So, whenever you hear lyrics about SKZ being the one and only, etc., know that it's true and they earned it. SKZ entered the Guiness World Records Book for being the first group in history to debut five consecutive albums (ODDINARY, MAXIDENT, FIVE STAR, ROCK STAR, and ATE) at Number 1 in the Billboard 200. That record changed to six consecutive albums after their latest release, HOP. I would suggest, if you want to continue exploring the SKZ discography which I promise you is well worth it, that before you listen to their more recent hits, you listen to a couple of the earlier songs that brought them popularity: GOD'S MENU, a song about how their discography has something for everyone is the song that acknowledged them as a new genre, and THUNDEROUS, the clapback response song to the critics that called their music "noise."

THanks a lot for reacting to stray kids !! If you want more info : Stray kids are a self produced group (Which is rare in K-pop ) Changbin, Han and BangChan are known under the 3racha name. They produce and make lyrics for almost 99% of all the songs of the group. BangChan (the leader) has more than 204 credited songs (and has train for 7 long years), Changbin and Han have almost the same count with 175 and 167 songs as of November 2024. But as of today, all members are starting to make their own songs. If you want to discover them they have a song called "FAM" where they describe each other. It's rly good and it's footage of them on stage. They are 8 members and have a unique fact about them : they don't have roles because they are multi talented. (In k-pop, a group is divided in roles : vocals : the ones singing, rap line : the one rapping and dance line : the ones dancing. It implies that if they are one they aren't good at the other twos) They were also all recruited by BangChan (unique way of creating a group. In K-pop it's the agency who decides which member will form a group based on the concept of the group.) If you like their songs, they have a big big catalog and they use a lot of music styles. They also have a lot of content on youtube like behind the stage / MV or lives and a lot of covers; ect. If the dance part interests you, they have dance practices there too ! You could check the one for "Domino","Easy" and a lot more ! here are some reccomendation if you are interrested : You can try : With MVs : Christmas EveL, Megaverse, S-class, Venom, Thunderous, Top line, Gods Menu, Mountain, Levanter, Double Knot, Hellevator, Case 143, LALALALA, Cheese, Freeze, the sound, Time's out, Question, Astronaut, Topline, Easy, SuperBoard, get lit, Circus, All in, Maknae on top, up on night, StrayKids, ect without MVs you have : Bounce back, U, Awaken, Rock, Hall of fame, Item, Domino, COMFLEX, blind spot. If you prefer more melodic and less "noisy" songs try : Cover me, Chill, Collision, Can't stop, Limbo, Stars and raindrops, Leave, FNF, Streetlight, Youtiful, Leave, U, Twillight, ect. And if rap is what you're into try : Heyday (3racha), 3RACHA, We go, Any, Muddy water, Tortoise and the Hare and so much more ! I hope you will be discovering stray kids and it will be fun !

Theres a bunch of really interesting kpop out there so dont let anyone tell you stray kids is the only one. Each of their songs are made so that every detail is carefully thought out. Production is always high level. They never release something just for the sake of it. I loved your reaction to S-Class! Stray Kids usually catch everyone off guard. 😂 I know you've gotten a ton of information in the comments already so I won't repeat anything other than yes, they are ALL hot 🔥 and they are ALL extremely talented. I saw in one of your responses that you like metal and alternative. You should definitely add Battleground, MEGAVERSE, Social Path (ft. LiSA), and LALALALA (Rock vers) to your list. In addition, Han's solos Volcano and Hold my Hand. Also, Stray Kids have a whole mix tape (album) from prior to their debut (when they officially started as a group). Because they are unique, they went through a process with their agency through a survival show (it's available for you to watch and will make you love them but will also probably make you cry). On the show, they made their own songs starting with Hellavator. But my two favorite were YAYAYA and GRR (Beware) because I'm also a fan of metal/rock/alternative music including BMTH. ☺️ I hope you continue to react to Stray Kids! It's a rabbit hole I fell down in 2022 and I don't even want to find my way out. Other groups to check out: Ateez - Bouncy, Ice on my teeth, Work iKon - Rhythm Ta, Killing me, Love Scenario Black Pink - Pretty Savage, Shut Down, Pink Venom Also, I would highly recommend watching Kingdom: Legendary War. Stray Kids won the show in 2021 and the performances were SO GOOD! It's on Prime Video but you will get a copyright strike if you have it on KZbin. So, a lot of reactors offer it free on their Patreon.

I really hope you continue looking into them. They have a style very much their own and are considered to be a very unique in the industry. Yes they are all visuals, dancers, rappers, vocalists... They all do everything. One thing you'll find out is that most SKZ MVs have a lot happening in them and sometimes, if you're not familiar with the group and their lore, you might be a bit lost. The more you learn about them and the more you watch their work (especially their earlier MVs) the more you'll see how the concepts tie together.

For future reference (that you may have already gathered from reading other comments): "K-Pop" tends to refer more to the Korean _idol industry_ than the pop music genre, hence the very unexpected sound while definitely being kpop. There are some rock bands that I tend to count as kpop simply because they're under kpop companies and are presented and promoted in similar ways. My current favorite, ONEWE, started off as a group of high school kids that basically adopted a college student, and then joined a company that has put them through a lot of the rigamarole that groups more like Stray Kids often go through. So even though they're a band known for their rock ballads, I'd count them as kpop artists, as they definitely operate within the idol industry.

The best way to think about it in my opinion is that kpop is an industry, not a music genre. As I'm sure you know, there ARE some specific styles of music composition that make music sound like it's kpop, but really it's just pop. 01:30 almost every MV from Stray Kids is a movie. Seriously they are always so detailed and the lore/story goes HARD. They prefer practical effects so the explosions and fire are REAL. They actually were on the Han River on a barge. The budget is INSANE. 01:55 Felix is not the leader, but they are ALL gorgeous - ALL OF THEM. 04:40 The guy singing here is the leader, Bang Chan. 02:40 Stray Kids has a LOT of rap. They write and produce their own music. 3RACHA (a subunit within the 8 of them that typically does the writing and producing) has some earlier stuff that is basically street rap and hiphop. It's good shit. 03:00 Stray Kids drops are THE BEST. They always have the deepest bass hits. 04:50 Seungmin is the lead vocalist 05:20 They def all have their own styles and try to highlight them in EVERY song I loved your reaction to them! Suggestions for you: God's Menu, Victory Song, Topline, Megaverse, Maniac... honestly you can't go wrong with any of their title tracks lol

Hey, I see that many people have been explaining Stray Kids (skz) to you, but I would like to expand a bit on it (as well as give you some recs at the end if you don't mind). (Some lingo you should probably know in kpop: bias --> favorite idol in a group, ult bias --> all-time favorite idol, ult group --> all-time favorite group, bias wrecker --> the one idol(s) who makes you question who you bias actually is, maknae --> youngest in the group, leader --> the person in charge of taking care of their group and their members, main --> the first person in charge of a certain position [ie. main vocalist], lead --> the second person in charge of a position; slightly less important than the main [ie. lead dancer], --> sub --> the third rank [ie. sub rapper]) Skz was formed in 2017 by Bang Chan and went through a survival show called Stray Kids before they debuted in 2018 as a nine-member group under JYP Entertainment. In 2019, their eldest member, Woojin, left the group for personal reasons and now has a solo career (I don't really know anything about his music, though, so can't help you on that end). Stray Kids is divided into three subunits: 3racha (pronounced three racha), danceracha, and vocalracha. Order of members by age (oldest to youngest): Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. *Fun Fact: Han and Felix are only a day apart in age and are often referred to as the 'Sunshine Twins' due to their bubbly and friendly personalities. +3racha+ The producing unit of skz. Formed predebut. Bang Chan -- - Born in Korea, but raised since a young age in Australia. He grew up bilingual. - Moved by himself back to Korea at 13 (international age) after he was accepted into JYPE. - Was a trainee for 7 years (incredibly long considering most idols debut after 1 to 3 years of training) - Birth name: Christopher Chan Bahng. - Is the leader of skz - Birthday: October 3, 1997 - Has a sister who is also a singer (Hannah Bahng) Changbin -- - Born and raised in Korea - Main rapper - Birth name: Seo Changbin - Birthday: August 11, 1999 - Originally wanted to be a singer Han -- - Born in Korea, but lived in Malaysia for part of his childhood - Main rapper - Birth name: Han Jisung - Birthday: September 14, 2000 - Known as the ace of the group, he is incredibly good at all the positions (rapper, vocalist, dancer, producer, lyricist) +Danceracha+ The dance unit of skz. Lee Know -- (my bias :) ) - Born and raised in Korea - Was a professional dancer before joining skz (used to be a backup dancer for BTS and was a part of a dance group, even participating in various competitions such as World of Dance) - Main dancer - Dance leader (not to be confused with lead dancer, he is in charge of dance practices and helps members wih choreography) - Birth name: Lee Minho - Birthday: October 25, 1998 Hyunjin -- - Born and raised in Korea - Main dancer - Birth name: Hwang Hyunjin - Birthday: March 20, 2000 - Was scouted by a JYPE employee while shopping at the mall and originally knew nothing about dance, rap, or singing when he joined the agency. Felix -- - Born and raised in Australia - Moved to Korea at 17 - Didn't know how to speak ANY Korean when he first arrived - Lead dancer - Birth name: Felix Yongbok Lee - Birthday: September 15, 2000 +Vocalracha+ The vocal unit of skz. Seungmin -- - Born and raised in Korea - Main vocalist - Birth name: Kim Seungmin - Birthday: September 22, 2000 - Not really important to know, but his English name is Sky and I love that name so much (I used to always wanted to be named Sky) I.N -- - Born and raised in Korea - Maknae - Lead vocalist - Birth name: Yang Jeongin - Birthday: February 8, 2001 Now for song recs! (If you made it this far lol) You want to hear more of Felix's deep voice? Watch Victory Song. My personal fave songs are Hellevator, Voices, Chronosaurus, Easy, Phobia, Haven, Any, the entire NoEasy + Oodinary + Maxident + the Sound (j-pop release) albums, Get Lit, Hall of Fame, Cover Me, Mountains, Stray Kids (the song), and Falling Up. Personally, I recommend starting with their most well-known songs (Maniac, Thunderous, Case 143...), but whatever suits you best. My favorite performance of theirs is their cover of BTOB's I'll Be Your Man. I def recommend checking that out ❤ Have a good day :)

They debuted in 2018 8 members; Ages 23 - 27 Fandom name is Stay #2 Best Selling Artist in U.S 2023 #3 Globally Best Selling 2023 They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. Numbers of songs each member has copyrighted according to Korean Music Association (KOMCA) so far... Bang Chan 204 Changbin 175 Han 164 Hyunjin 27 Felix 23 I.N 21 Seungmin 20 Lee Know 17 While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Changbin and Han which are the main producers and lyricists. They are always credited as 3Racha. 3Racha Achievements - Producers of Consecutive 6 Time Billboard 200 #1 album debuts - only group in history - Hot 100 Hitmakers - 3rd, 9th, 11th Most Credited Idols on KOMCA - Produced Albums Sold Over 20 Million Copies - Japan Hot 100 Hitmakers - 100+ Weeks on Hot 100 Lyricists - 100+ Weeks On Hot 100 Composers - 2023 Asia Artist Awards Best Creator - Makers of Time Magazines 2020 #8 Best Song (their song Backdoor) Danceracha... Lee Know (in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin. They also contribute to the choreography. Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While their title tracks are typically always hype they still have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography which contains many mellow songs. While more of a rap focused group they all have beautiful vocals they showcase in slower songs. Example... Gods Menu, Chk Chk Boom and Cover Me all completely different sounds. yeah kpop is an industry not a genre and most kpop groups do multiple genres (stray kids might genuinely have the most diverse discography genre wise though; that’s not an exaggeration either. there’s a youtuber on here that breaks down groups by their genre diversity and skz was the highest last time i checked, who knows now tho 😭). they have covered just about every broad category of genre out there at least once. i feel like their most prominent influences are hip-hop, rock, and edm, though. they are 99% of the time the sole writers of their music and generally the primary composers. bang chan (their leader) is the only one that really produces for the group, but 3racha (bang chan, han, changbin) as a whole is somewhat of a production unit (they even put ‘3racha’ along side their names in the credits and the times they have ventured into producing for other artists, they have done so as a trio). around 7/8 i would call singer/songwriters. the only one who isn't (or hasn't expressed a strong interest in writing) is lee know (who, btw, is a dance mastermind/was a professional dancer before joining the group). he still tries to write for solo songs though. 3racha have been song writing since before stray kids were even a group. hyunjin has been writing a lot recently. seungmin has been talking about songwriting and an at-home mini studio he set up. jeongin likes writing with the other members. felix has been on a bit of a writing spree lately as well. if you want to know more, i recommend a youtube fan guide. chandora’s (@chandorasworld) is the current best (if a little outdated). they have a long (~2 hours) and a short (~30 mins) one. i would say go with the long one since it cover all bases, but i know not everyone wants to sit for a 2 hour vid. DO NOT JUST PICK ANY GUIDE: there are some really uninformative ones out there.

K-pop is a term used broadly for any/all Korean music that would be uh popular on the radio. It does a real disservice to the artists because people assume as you did - that it is all bubble gum pop girl groups and boy groups. Some are, of course. But a lot of it isn’t. The Rose is an alternative rock band. Ateez is a group with rappers and singers and its own distinct sound. (Many fans of Stray Kids also like Ateez.) Rose Quartz is a hard rock girl band. NCT has that EDM sound. Stray Kids has an insane discography and tends to be far more experimental than most since they are primarily self-produced and have been from the outset. It is a really fun rabbit hole to explore.

Hi, subscribed for more Stray Kids! Here for your journey. If you like the gaming/anime route, they have a few: for Arcane Come Play, for Tower of God they have English versions TOP, SLUMP, Night and Falling up. Also gaming references in Saiyan and Item. They are 24-27yrs, so gaming is their thing! They often dress like anime characters too. They cover all the genres, so just ask us (STAY is our fandom name) for recommendations. Rap heavy, soulful ballad, electronica, boom bap, machine gun rap, or rock, pop, r&b, drum & base...or all of that in one track.

BTW kpop groups are really different from other groups they do have a leader but no one gets any special treatment in this group because of their bond with each other. They all bring something unique to the groups personality. Also not all kpop is like this because just like western music kpop has a vide wariety of genres that you can dive into but skz normally are known for their hard hitting 'in your face' music and they experiment alot with different kinds of sounds and they talk alot about the process of putting their albums together because they love making music. I totally recommend you to check out their new album HOP that they released last month it includes 3 group songs and 8 solo songs from all the 8 members and you can sort of get a sneak peak of all the different genres they can do.

I am sure someone else mentioned it already, but figured if you planned to watch more Stray kids, and I hope you do🤞, that would be a great place to start, something familiar😉. There are 4 songs now for Tower of God, as they just released for seasons 2 opening and ending themes. The older two are TOP and Slump and you can actually watch them live on First Take🤩, the more recent two are Falling up and Night, and I recommend to watch them with the color coded vids, as its a great way to start learning the members as well. I hope you choose to go on this (long) journey and know you will enjoy it if you do💝.

Like others have said already, kpop is an industry and groups can cover many genres, so I think anyone can find something they like within it! Stray Kids is pretty unique since they self produce, so they can make a sound that's specifically suited for them. Each member has a solo on their latest album, "HOP", so you can also see some of the styles they like to work with individually if you want. I would recommend "Case 143", my favorite title track from Stray Kids :) If you're looking to check out more kpop boy groups, I'd recommend Ateez. A lot of Stray Kids fans also enjoy Ateez. They partially self-produce and work closely with their production team. I would say they overall have a bit more emphasis on vocals than Stray Kids, but both groups are good at rap and vocals. Ateez also absolutely excells at stage performance! From Ateez I would recommend "Guerilla" and "Turbulence". (Ateez also has Lore that they've carried through their music/content since debut, if that's something you're interested in. It's one of my favorite things about them lol) Edited to also recommend "Crazy Form" from Ateez! It's literally my favorite song, I don't know why I forgot.

If you fall down the Stray Kids rabbit hole get use to the in your face feeling because that is a SKZ trademark. 😂 And yes, all the members are very attractive and have unique charms. You will also discover that they don’t have roles all 8 members sing, rap and kill choreography. Unlike other groups Stray Kids write and produce 98% of their music. All 8 members have writing credits. 3Racha are the producer unit led by the Leader Bang Chan who is the creator of the majority of beats you will hear in their music.

Yeah you'd think kpop was like boy band stuff but... it's just it's whole own thing, it's not even a genre, it's a whole industry within an industry lol There's a lot of groups with their own concept and styles. Stray Kids are absolutely top tier, but the deeper you go the more you find. You should be warned kpop is a whole rabbit hole. You can't go wrong with Stray Kids tho, honestly no skips, and music videos for most of their discography. My personal faves by them is Blueprint and Chronosaurus. Completely different vibe. My fave kpop group is Monsta X tho. Little side lore is the leader of Monsta X (Shownu) was Bang Chan's (Stray Kids leader) room mate when he first moved to Korea and helped him settle into life there.

CHECKOUT MORE STRAY KIDS... Tbh, Id say stray kids doesnt have songs like "typical kpop songs"... that means, no kpop group is like stray kids in my opinion. Stray kids have their own unique-ness in their songs, they produce their own songs. Skz debuted in 2018, till now they have 200+ songs, with multiple genre. So they dont always stick with same genre, but you'll know its a skz song when you listen to it (hard to explain, you'll find it out as you listen to them more) I've been a fan of skz for almost 2 years now, and they always fed me with good contents, never gave me a break or time to checkout other groups (not complaining AT ALL)... Id say, you SHOULD checkout GOD'S MENU of skz, one of their most successful songs in their whole discography

If you want more Felix, try "Maniac". Pure gold! Some of their most popular tracks: La la la La, :Chk Chk Boom, God's Menu. Together, they make a very good intro to SK (and I think all of them are better than S Class - for my money, S Class is a bit disjointed musically). As others will have told you, they for the most part write, perform and produce their own music. Also choreograph the dancing. They can't do all of it, especially music videos. Felix is perhaps the best looking (almost pretty rather than handsome), and loved by certain fashion brands. Several times on cover shoots of fashion magazines. Hyungjin probably equal in looks, but not quite as androgynous as Felix (which I think is what gives Felix a lot of his popularity, as well as incongruity between his pretty looks and his deep voice). Both of them lead dancers. But none of them have been hit in the face by the ugly bus.

@@YesterdaysYouthTV This is true. Most MV's are ok to put on YT without a filter. Just pause several times & talk about the song, visuals, members, etc, & it shouldn't be a problem. There are exceptions & that's with Japanese songs/MV's & Live Performances. Japan does have stricter copyrights, so with those, it is safer to use a filter. Same with Live Perf.. A few sites/channels will let you upload without a filter, but the majority can/will get blocked without one. Some channels I follow won't put those on YT & only put them on their Patreon because they don't want to risk getting blocked, or worse, a strike. Quick note: if anyone ever comment saying to stop pausing so much(cause they don't understand how YT really works), just tell them you do that to avoid getting blocked, copyrighted or getting a strike on your channel. Also gonna add. YT can be super confusing(& a Real Pain) with what is ok & not ok to upload. Some channels can upload Anything & YT does nothing. While another channel uploads the same thing & gets blocked. I swear, YT has favorites. So for Korean MV's, un-filtered with pausing should be fine. With Japanese, probably safer to use a filter. Hope this helps.

@@YesterdaysYouthTV Happy to hear that. Hope it helps in the future. Honestly, K-POP, not just Stray Kids(who kinda have their own sound/genre), has so many genres, not just boy/gird group bubble gum pop. Some are, but there are so many other genre. Rock, Alternative, EDM, R&B, etc. So much variety. & as others have said, & this is for pretty much all groups, they all Sing, Rap & Dance. & they all go through A Lot of Training before they ever debut. & you'll hear English in their song. One last little warning/heads up. Sometimes, common, everyday words in other languages, can sound like 'Bad Words' in English. They're not, but they sound like them. Those words are often misheard & miss-interpreted. There's a Korean word that is Always misheard/miss-understood & unfortunately, it's a very common word that sounds like they're saying the 'N' word. They're not. I'm gonna give a link to a short clip(30s) to show you. So when you hear it in a song, you know it's Korean & not English. Common Korean word that sounds like the ‘N’ word. @@YesterdaysYouthTV Sorry to comment about this again, but I just want to clear-up a few things. For the stricter Japanese copyrights, that might apply more for Japanese artists/groups. But with Korean doing Japanese songs/mv's, those aren't as strict. For example, Stray Kids Japanese mv's/songs should be ok to put on YT without a filter. I've see many reactors post them without problems. 1 very important thing. I couldn't tell from the filtered video, but did you turn on the Subtitles/Closes Captions? The majority of MV's have them so you know what they're saying/singing. You can vibe with just the music, but the Lyrics can take a song to another level. Especially with a group like Stray Kids, who use A Lot of 'word-play' in their lyrics. Just make sure it's set to English. But that should be the default setting. For Live perf. The majority of sites for lives will need a filter to upload on YT. Examples, the site 'INKIGAYO' will 95, if not 100% of the time require a filter. 'Music Bank' will typically need one. But I've seen multiple live from 'MCountdown' that didn't require any filters. & "STAGE MIX" video's, when they take parts of the groups live performances from multiple 'Music Shows' & edit them into 1 video, are usually ok to upload unfiltered. You're just getting into uploading MV's, so there will be a period of Trial & Error. So for now, just upload MV's without a filter. I'd say 95% of the time, with Korean MV's, there shouldn't be any problems. With the few exceptions, YT should typically just block(take down) the video &, I think, tell you why. If that happens, just put a filter on it & re-upload. I know it's a lot, but I hope this helps you understand a little. & don't be afraid to ask for any advice.
