In response to Randy‘s comment where he said he prayed to be in one of those bands, not only did the Lord answer your prayer but in my humble opinion you are in what is pound for pound the most musically fierce and incredibly accomplished and prolific band on the planet! PERIOD!!!

thoroughly enjoyed this interview. This is the most I've ever heard Randy talk, and man, he has a great personality! I loved the insight, especially on touring/booking venues, and how he first met Neal. I have shown up to gigs with these tremendous, world-class musicians and wonderful music where the venue was small and it wasn't filled to capacity and always wondered how in the heck are they able to afford touring such a great quality show when some of these venues aren't filled? Well, a lot of hard work and hustle.....plus, of course, the merchandise and core loyal fan base. I am so encouraged when I see younger people, teens even, at these concerts, because they will be keeping this amazing music alive! Let's support these amazing cats guys....as far as I'm concerned, the more this music grows, the better for the world!

The discussion about playing in less-than-ideal venues brought back memories of seeing The Neal Morse Band on TSOAD tour at The Curtain Club in Dallas in 2017. That place was TINY. And the stage was tiny. I was shocked they were able to fit everyone on it, along with Mike's drumkit (Bill was half-hidden from view). And people were crammed in like sardines! I made my way across the room to the merch booth and almost didn't make it back across to where my friends were standing! In spite of that, the band sounded great, and it was a great show.

Up close and personal. VIP was a hoot also! Line went out the door around the front, and one dallasite was waiting for the doors to open and seeing the line commented "That line is for M&G?" It was tight for sure. Gas Monkey was a great venue for Great Adventure! But we need to get more people to know about NMB and fill the place!

@@tascman54 Yeah, I did not make it to Dallas for The Great Adventour, but saw them perform it live that year at Morsefest. I did see Mr. Big in 2017 at Gas Monkey Live, and it was a great venue. I was really sad to hear they shut it down, but I understand they are still doing shows at the Gas Monkey Bar & Grill.

I just watched the movie Reptillicus the other day. A 1964 offering from Norway of a monster movie sock puppet that rages over London. It was so bad I finished the movie. But back to Randy. In my top 10 favorite bassist of all time. He has a fluidity that not many bassist have in their arsenal. Oh and Nick's and Eric's solo videos made recently are incredible. There is a collaboration in the making.

I don't watch enough of these. I love the guys, I love the band. I am a huge fan. As I am watching this now, I have already pre-ordered I&D combo package. So,... Congratulations. No secrets spoiled Neal? God bless you brother. Your music is indescribably important to me, and millions of others. and TNMB is unconditionally, unarguably THE BEST BAND - EVER! Each member is intrinsic and the band simply just will not work with any other line up. Thank you for existing. Thank you in advance for all the future releases!!

Great series of interviews with musicians right up my alley. I love Morse & co, but after binge watching documentaries on him for the last week, he's a little whiney at times. I appreciate that he doesn't b.s., so thumbs up for honesty, but sometimes the old adage 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything' is more comfortable. Now I'm whiney, so...
