For me, the difference between Haewon and Lily and to a lesser extent, the other members of NMIXX from the other idols in the industry, is that they truly seem to enjoy singing and sing a lot. They seem to sing a lot of official and unofficial covers, which takes preparation and rehearsals, and a lot singing on live-streams. All of this is on top of the usual schedules a typical kpop group would do. There are a lot of talented vocalists in k-pop, but I really think the difference between the NMIXX singers and others is the amount of actual singing they do. Others sing because they have to, they sing because they want to. It's also exciting to know that they are still young. Imagine when their voices truly mature.

이 분들 확실히 엔며들었네 😊If someone asks me who is the best vocalist in the K pop scene, yes, definitely, it is Lily, but if asking who is the best singer, sure, it is Haewon, IMHO. Heawon's voice color, singing technique, and ability to master every genre in her way to deliver the story behind of a song are truly remarkable.

unreal cover, i prefer this to the original honestly As for suggestions for covers: Kyujin’s ‘mixxtape’ cover of Blackpink Rosé’s ‘On the ground’ (the production is amazing and it’s a whole new take on the song, plus it gives you guys a good chance to hear Kyujin’s voice as she’s the only member who’s yet to appear on Lee Mujin service) Heize - And July (re-mixx by Bae and Jiwoo, they both sound amazing, as always) Avril Lavigne - Complicated (re-mixx by Lily, this one is just perfect for Lily and i grew up listening to rock so it’s my worlds colliding lmao) Destiny’s Child - Survivor (pre-debut cover by Haewon and Lily, they both absolutely shine in this, great harmonies and highlights to power of both girls’ vocals) Maneskin - beggin (live cover by the full group, great performance by every member and Haewon literally growls at one point 🧎‍➡️ and Sullyoon is jumping around sounding more stable than the average person sounds stood still lol) Blackpink - Kill this Love (full group cover for ‘it’s live’, less than two months after debut they absolutely nailed this cover and the arrangement sounds great with the live band)
