When the album came out I was out grocery shopping. I couldn’t wait so I ended up crying in the produce section when listening to deep end for the first time😅. The song is so beautiful and really got me in the feels. I put it on everytime I need a good cry. First time around I checked twice if it really didn’t feature anyone but Felix on the track. So happy to see him getting more and more comfortable with his singing can’t wait for more of his work in the future.

maybe unpopular opinion, but I think that Felix is really feeling the void inside sometimes, so I think that helped him getting these emotions across so insanely intensely. And his 3 voices? like deep voice, middle voice, and falsetto, his range is absolute madness

Felix shocked the industry with this song! He covered different ranges with this but I was so sure this was all Felix. When you hear him sing raw he can actually sing on different key he did it on some of his live streams. He is amazing. This is one of my fave along side Limbo among SKZ player. Your reaction is same with all the Stays we were all speechless by the end of it.

I really think that this song is one of those songs where the piano is at work for his vocals and lyrics and not the opposite. I also love how he plays with his voice because he knows that he can ❤

The fact that he's spent this whole time hiding his insane range from us except from very brief glimmers... He truly has a beautiful voice and a range that really amplifies it. I remember feeling so proud when I listened to this the first time because he was incredibly nervous for us to hear it and told us to not expect too much. Whatever we were expecting, this sure wasn't it but in the best way possible!

When I listened to SKZ Replay for the first time I had to pause after every song. I think it was the first time I was so emotionally effected by an album, I teared up multiple times. Deep End was just so unexpected and such a demonstration of how you can carry and show emotion with just a voice and a piano. Felix's song writing really impressed me and I'm looking forward to see what he comes up with in the future.

I laughed in the album during 2nd listen when Doodle played out. Every other member’s song was mellow, emotional.. and then Changbin, who is known for his heart breaking emotional songs, just goes “my life’s like a doodle” badass and unexpected.

Felix broke everyone with this song. Mind blown. First with his vocals & the harmonies that are all him. Second with the emotional impact of the lyrics. This is still one of my favorite songs within Stray Kids’ vast discography. It hits the soul.

I had to check to make sure my video was still working, you guys were so still on the 2nd verse haha, then you moved and I was like 'whew'. Yeah, that pretty much sums out my reaction the first time I heard this song. His mixed voice, like mid range is just so warm and inviting. This song is a masterpiece! -- Also Yes Please, Han's song "Volcano"!!

It's so great to see Felix's voice being used for actual singing and people recognizing that he's more than just a novelty or vocal special effect. He's not suppressing his natural tone to try to sound more like a traditional pop singer either. Instead he brilliantly uses the power of his deep voice to deliver the darker emotions of the lyrics, the despair and anger and resignation, while his higher range has a more hopeful reminiscing quality to it, an almost child-like reflection on the good thing he lost. You don't need an 1000 octave range or the breath control of a whale to convey intense emotion in a beautifully crafted song. You just need to know how to use the tool you have, and it's lovely to watch Felix master that as he grows as a singer.

I'm late to Stray Kids and am relatively new to the fandom but as a former musician, I love this comment so much. Knowing how to use your tools is so much more important than all the fancier stuff that so many pop stars are doing these days. Felix could bring anyone to their knees with emotion alone that he brings to the piece. Just beautiful. ❤️

For me, Deep End is a song that makes me so emotional and I LOVE IT so much yet I barely listen to it because of that! This song showed a side of Felix none of was ready for, and now we have the amazing vocals from the switch up of the Muddy Water and Waiting For Us groups. To me this was him saying "not just my voice is deep, my heart and soul are deep as well, and my voice can do so many things, watch this...." I love this and it haunts me because one of the first things I noticed about Felix is that he was kind of only looked at for the deep voiced parts he has in songs and his visuals. I learned from watching their content is that he IS so much more than that and he is TRULY unique, his heart who he is is entirely unique....not just his deep voice. thank you guys for finally reacting to this song. Watching so many peoples shocked reactions is amazing. I felt the same when I heard it. I wasn't expecting this type of song and didn't know I needed it. I thought we would get more sunshine but this song proved just how talented Felix really is from writing the lyrics to the vocal range, and playing the piano. It is simply a beautiful song. Although it took about 4 listens before I could not cry though it, and wanted to punch anyone for hurting Felix. LOL (JK about the punching) I love this song. I really think you will love Han's song Volcano. Even for it being a rap son it is like Felix's Deep End. You can feel the lyrics and emotions. It is my favorite Han song ever. I love all of stray kids music Topline is amazing video, song and will get you hyped up, but there is something different about Volcano that gets you in your feels. Catch you on the next video.

It's been a while since I had listened to Deep End and yeah..... you can't help but get misty eyed. Felix did a phenomenal job and showed us a totally different side of himself. Honestly his singing somehat reminded me of Beck when he did the album Modern Guilt. I would LOVE to see you react to Volcano myself. I love Han's songwriting and enjoy the picture they always paint. I would say as far as 5Star goes my top 3 are DLC, ITEM and Collision though it is definitely a no skip album! Love your reactions! 🙂

Felix is my bias. I consider him my baby. He would fit perfectly between my younger son (who is 2 years younger) and my daughter (a few years older). He's so much like my kids and has a very special place in my heart. So, the first few times I heard this song, I ugly cried. I mean, snot everywhere. And, like you, I had moments I couldn't even move...I think I stopped breathing a couple of times. IMO, you should do Volcano next (INTENSE and Beautiful), THEN go through 5 Star. TOPLINE is absolute FIRE. But, most of the songs on 5 Star are.

Yeah that's pretty much the only appropriate reaction. His voice is devastating and staggering at the same time. There's just a unique resonance and range that trumps other deep voice singers. I've also grown to love his ASMR content and I don't even really like ASMR otherwise. He recently sang more lines during the "Waiting for Us" unit performance and he definitely is so much steadier and his singing voice is amazing live. I'm just 😮
