This was their 2022 gift to Stay similar to Party's Not Over this pasr August. This was filmed in LA during their 2022 concert tour. I love this song and it always gives me great memories of my first time seeing them in concert a month before this came out.

I believe Chan said that they wrote the song for stays during their vacation in Jeju Island but then when they went to Malibu on vacation afterward, they filmed the MV there. I think it was Malibu not LA. Yeah one of the directors confirmed it was a private beach in Malibu CA.

5:52 they filmed this in 2022 (in LA if I'm not wrong) this song was a present to stays in 01.08.2022 (stay's birthday) 6:00 he did not hit the ball😭😂

The 5 mixtapes from the ‘I AM’ and ‘Clé’ album series are remade songs that were originally just 3racha but they had the other members write lyrics to add to them so they could be included at the end of the albums. The mixtapes since then have always just been songs that weren’t originally included in the albums and were released prior to the album they were added to.

The audio clips of their laughter were recorded when they went on a short vacation together prior to this time in the MANIAC tour (so they're legit authentic laughter clips Chris just plucked out of their private recordings). Then sometime during what iirc was about a three-day gap when the tour hit California after Washington, they went to the beach and filmed this. Buried in a Talker episode somewhere is an implication that they, especially Chris, were working on this song in their hotel rooms as they were actively touring.

The Mixtapes after the I Am and Clé series have mostly been random single drops that aren't originally attached to any album. They have then been added to later albums. For example, Mixtape: Gone Days and Mixtape: On Track were added, several months after their original release, to the Go Live album. Mixtape: Time Out was a gift to Stay for the 4th anniversary of the fandom name last year. It was added on to the 5-Star album, but the song and video were out almost a year before that. It's inspired by a vacation they had before Oddinary came out. They even directly recorded the sea sounds themselves!

HAN mentioned during his time on Lee Mujin that his father was a Rock performer. HAN naturally has a Rock vibe due to his childhood. This was a mixtape as it was released for STAY birthday but was so popular they included it in this album. Another punk rock song is Super Board.

I believe they named it mixtape because it wasn't originally part of an album. They released it as like a birthday present to stay last year, i believe. They filmed it in California also? Someone, please correct me if i'm wrong!

*The use of "Mixtape" in SKZ can get confusing, so I'll give this a shot:* - The Mixtape album comprises seven songs they made during the show; it was released predebut. These are completely unrelated to anything else that says "Mixtape," and none of the _songs_ have "Mixtape" in the title. -------------------- - There are several songs that have a "Mixtape: [some word]" title. The videos for some (but not all) of these, along with a few other songs, are part of the Mixtape storyline, which is a secondary and much less confusing storyline than the main storyline(s). This storyline is: - 0.5 "Grow Up" (optional; prequel that sets up their relationship; contains recurrent visual/prop details from the rest of the official Mixtape storyline) - 1.0 "Mixtape: On Track" (the beginning of the end) - 2.0 "B Me" unveil track (there is no full mv, but the unveil is an official part of the storyline and contains vital content; as they put it, this is their relationship breakup) - 3.0 "Mixtape: OH" (direct followup to the B Me events, including details like injury; then shows the passage of time from the immediate aftermath and through to a present time where they're more mature and looking back with regret and longing; in their words, this is them regretting their breakup and wishing to get back together) - 4.0 "The View" (as they put it, this is when their wish came true and they reconciled) - 5.0 The brand-new "SKZFLIX" short film, which takes us on an alternative path as Felix jumps multiverses at the end of "B Me" so he can repair the group relationship and give Lee Know the chance to pursue his dream instead of abandoning it like he did in "OH" when the group friendship disintegrated. - These songs and videos are completely unrelated to anything else that says "Mixtape." -------------------- - There are a few random songs, like "Mixtape: Time Out," that are total one-offs, unconnected to any storyline or album theme. I love Time Out. As you said it's a song to have fun. It's a song you want to dance to and have a great time with. The mv makes you want to hang out with the boys or at least to enjoy a beautiful day at the beach. So that this song was a gift for us stays to our birthday is really sweet and thoughtful, because they want us to relax, to forget all our worries and just come have fun with them. 💕

It was films near LA after they wrapped the Maniac tour before Maniac Encore, and they wrote and recorded it while touring, which is cool. No joke, this was the video that made me a STAY. I randomly ran across it on KZbin and was like "kpop can sound like this, too? I guess I like kpop, then." and also "I wanna hang out in a beach house with these cool, goofy guys!"

until album cle series mixtape with number like mixtape #1, #2 etc was originally 3racha song and they made it into skz song and included on album, for a while its only on cd, but then they released all of them. and for mixtape without number like gone days, on track, oh, time out, and party's not over are gifts for stay. gone days for year-end 2019 gift, on track for skz anniversary, oh for hyunjin's cb, time out and party's not over for stay's birthday. and most of them released only the song digitally before they included them on album. cause one changbin said "music is the best gift we can give"
