Thanks so much for getting to Feel Like! So so freakin satisfying to watch your reaction. That video was my intro to WOODZ, so it will always be my favorite. I see others have recommended the remaining MVs, and of course you can’t go wrong with them (a mix of title tracks and singles). But also consider some B-sides (remember, Accident and Chaser are B-sides!). SO HARD TO NARROW IT DOWN… I remember after your reaction to Accident, you said “it doesn’t have to surprise us. I just want to lie in his lap and listen to his details.” I think a good DJ would bring it down a couple notches after Feel Like. So I will give you three options with pros and cons, but without too many spoilers: 1) Rebound. This is the third song out of three on the Set album (Feel Like was title track). The album had more tracks, but WOODZ decided to only release the songs he was perfectly happy with. So Songs on the Set album are good ones to appreciate him as a producer. Woodz is also an exceptional lyricist. (Rebound is in English btw). Drawback: no MV and only two live stages that I know of, one of them fan-pirated. This would probably be a just listen reaction. 2) Different: amazing song, beautiful MV and it does have English subs. The song is produced by someone else, tho. 3) Better and Better: This is a song on Colorful Trauma that was written with fans in mind. It is as close as humanly possible to literally lying in Cho Woodz lap. He’s even giving you a kiss on the head. This would probably be a color-coded lyrics reaction. Don’t get me wrong, I love Trigger, Recipe, Hijack and all the other songs already mentioned. I just went with new-genre+dial-it-down as my guide, but I’ll happily be outvoted. And oh yeah, WOODZ will be appearing on Immortal Songs at least three times in the next month and a half or so, and I expect those are going to be some epic stages. So I am holding off on recommending songs like Kiss of Fire that just might end up being one of them. But yes, that one’s a must, too.
