NOID is one of my favourite songs. Because the personal colour is very strong, it is even more irresistible. He did himself paranoidly in the music world, desperately expressing his attitude with songs, and hitting the hearts of the audience hard. About NOID lyrics, yes, "noid" is for paranoid. My take on the song - a person who's tired of being unhappy in a relationship that's something like this: I really want you but I'm afraid to want you (because I think you're on your way out) but I'm telling myself that I'm just being paranoid (and you're telling me I'm being paranoid) but I think I'm actually right, so just leave me alone (to die). There's a lot of reference to going lower/falling/drowning. So he's having a hard time in the relationship and is trying to let go ("I'll be tryna go low, I'll be on my own, oh, let me be a noid, enough) but freedom from the relationship is this: (How does it feel/feels like I'm gonna drown/I can't stand it anymore. How does it feel to be free, a little lower, even if I fall down endlessly, till I die till I die till I die.) I bring up the drowning imagery because - well, you noticed his background vocals in the outro. And if you ask me, those vocals are the melodic version of sinking towards death mixed with welcome relief. So when you called the song "comfy" - yes, exactly. The comfort of giving up. Relaxing into your demise. WOODZ the lyricist. No joke. And the unexpected relationships between lyrics and music... he's often just... dangerous. I totally get, it's impossible to take in everything about a WOODZ song on the first listen. But WOODZ rarely paints in one color, and the lyrics are usually part of that.

I should also say, other fans I've discussed NOID lyrics with feel strongly that this song is a response to the X1 disbandment. (This song is from Equal, his first mini-album as WOODZ). I would totally agree that the headspace of this song (I just can't do this anymore) at least includes that very personal struggle. It's also notable that he said in a preview of the album, the songs NOID and Lift UP are related to each other. Noid with all the "going down" lyrics and Lift up with all the, y'know, "lifting up" lyrics... k, i'll shut up now.

I highly recommmend you guys to reald to his song "meaningless". It's beautiful but be aware, Woodz said that it is about su*cidal thoughts he had whhen he was going through some pretty heavy stuff.

Guapo Sausages, Blue April meant "Recipe" and I'm pretty stunned more people haven't mentioned it. It's a solid answer to your question, from very early in his career as a soloist. At the time, he was going by Luizy, not WOODZ.
