This was a terrible swing and miss of an ad for sure. As people have pointed out, it would have been better if they had played it in reverse: explode the ultra-thin iPad into a bunch of creative stuff instead of the other way around. Bad ad with terrible timing. No excuses. That said, I get what they were going for and I don’t think it was “you can just crush your pianos now.” I’m not going to freak out and decide Apple - who has been the partner of creatives for 40 years - is suddenly out to kill creativity because they made one bad ad. 😁

Haha yep that would have been a better look. I’m still writing this reply on an iPhone and don’t plan on switching lol. But I did switch to Windows cpu years ago and enjoy that ecosystem. This ad wasn’t too crazy, it was like watching a video of someone get injured, you don’t feel it but you feel it if you know what I mean 😆 was just tough to see, but the strong and persistent will survive in this new, ruthless tech-driven industry. Being a full-time musician is tricky these days
