one of my most golden studio memories with phlash... he called me to the studio in ladbroke grove for us to work on a remix he was doing for jody watley ("photographs" - the remix was released on chillifunk). phil was sure he wanted to use acoustic piano on the remix and i jumped in the booth where the upright piano was, but said i needed to warm up a bit first... so phil kicked off this beat on the MPC3000 and i warmed up while the studio engineer, felix hopkins, hit record without me knowing. so grateful to have shared a beautiful friendship with phil and have so much music we collab'd on to reflect back on x

What i would give to hear this on the Shelter sound system again! With the hoopin & hollerin from the crowd. Just riding this groove, sweat drippin, all the smiling faces, just a knowing on the floor of what bliss incarnate feels like. Bodies twisting, jumping, flowing to this gem of a dream
