The last time I saw abiodun was at Harriet Tubman school in Harlem the day we had the ceremony after we change the name of Lenox avenue to Malcolm x boulevard I can remember standing on the steps talkin to Sister Betty shabazz and brother Ahmad Obafemi. Me and Abiodun ate out of the same plate. I also hear Abiodun talkin about the Central State prison that he's talking about is in Raleigh North Carolina, I knew a brother by the name of Blalock who was in there with him and spoke on that because he was there. Also with us that day in Harlem was Queen Mother Moore

This Last Poet's Joint is on.. Very informative and introspective. The evolvement has to be complete.Fortunately what Tupac created that is great servived. The Cointell prob still operates today. He was being watched and set up.He was a victim too.It may appear that black people killed him but he was feared by big brother..

Yo that one journalist who was talking down on PAC and Death Row was not intelligent in his rebuke of the artist and CEO. Al Davis had a team called the Raiders and I am quite sure he had a more extensive car collection or spend his money on more exotic extremities. I agree with him one thing though perpetuating the facts can lead to one's demise.

Prejudices are real... But it's all races...and its natural for all gene pools to be aware of differences to protect ones self firdt.... I have many stories too.. Even though i had most friends from other races... I still had been accosted many times...anywhere...thankfully never got violent... So yes im offended.. Lol... when only other races complaining is acceptible... Soo hypocritical...white 1 st gen European here... Not complaining but lets keep it real... Racism marketing is all it is...and now it is evenmore absurd.... I heard Last Poets at very young age.. And appreciated the inword looking of the poetry...honesty...that a white guy could understand whats going on... Relate through the story.. Calling it out... Worth a listen because of the real honest energy unfiltered...Art..... We can appreciate.... Can make us understand eachother... Thats the closest we can get... Thats fine. Its what we do about it.... Positively.

Ms Green at 47 mins you are being intellectually dishonest. If you know someone is making a trope from you out of ignorance... why would you reinforce that syereotype by acting out the stereotype? Thats straight weakness & an important missed opportunity for the one feeling stereotyped as well as the one who is stereotyping someone.
