At my church's retreat, we played this song over and over again...people were out of their chairs and lifting their hands to worship the Lord. In the room you could literally feel the presence of the Lord...is was amazing. Everyone had its eyes closed so with tears, and lifting their hand high and just worshiped. After the retreat, there were tons of kids who came home with a peace of heart and some even came to the Lord. The Lord is the way maker and merical worker!!!

I watch the man that I love so much struggle with alcohol addiction. He faces many legal problems and he decided to turn himself in to get over the addiction and put his legal matters behind him. Thru it all he knows who holds his hand. Yesterday I watched him turn himself in to the authorities and this is the song that played in my head as I watched them handcuff him and as he walk into that place. Even when we don't see that you are working, even when I don't feel like you are working..you never stop working!! God is so good!!! He gave me strength through an abusive relationship, strength and courage to reach out to friends and family to get out of there. Made a way for me to come home. By his grace I am safe from my ex through the courts. He put it upon my best friend's heart to give me a place to live when my mom and I couldn't live together peacefully. He blessed me with patience to help open my bff's heart to love again. He showed me that it is possible to trust again. To feel safe and secure and loved again. My best friend and I now are engaged and expecting our first child together. We may not have done everything by the books like we're "supposed to" but we have held onto faith every step of the way and our Lord God has not let us down. He continues to take care of us and we continue to draw closer to him every day. Way maker. Miracle worker. Promise keeper. Light in the darkness indeed.
